As if there weren't already enough ways to get this game
Well, not the PS1 version, I guess.

I remember this happening like two years ago.

What's the point, you can already play PS1 games with a PS3. It would have been much better to get Revolution.

Mine was replaced and it's now a 120 GB, I don't think it can play PS2 games

Re: Rayman 2 is finally on the European PSN
I have often wondered if PS1 games on PSN use lossy compression or not, but I have never found anyone who has a clue. Getting Rayman 1 down to 93 megabytes (or whatever it was) sounds suspiciously effective, and I don’t see a point in rereleasing games if the original releases are of a better quality.
I prefer the PS1 version.Hunchman801 wrote:It would have been much better to get Revolution.

It lets you play Rayman 2 on PSP then.Hunchman801 wrote:What's the point, you can already play PS1 games with a PS3. It would have been much better to get Revolution.
Re: Rayman 2 is finally on the European PSN
I read the news today on IGN, I think it is a good chance for those who don't own the physical CD and/or any of the previous consoles. I consider it a good version.

Re: Rayman 2 is finally on the European PSN
So do I, but we could already play in on the PS3, which is why I'd rather have had Revolution on the PSN. Isn't it available on the American PSN by the way?spiraldoor wrote:I prefer the PS1 version.

If by "it", you mean Revolution, then no. If you mean the PS1 version, then yes.Hunchman801 wrote:Isn't it available on the American PSN by the way?

Weren't there rumours of dreamcast games on the PSN? I'd love it if R2 for the dreamcast was released.

Or the emulator quickly fix this save problem when emulating R2.ParadoxJuice wrote:Weren't there rumours of dreamcast games on the PSN? I'd love it if R2 for the dreamcast was released.

You can’t save in Rayman 2 when playing it on a Dreamcast emulator. And it’s unlikely that third-party Dreamcast games will be re-released any time soon.
