Some interesting developments – Sony (in response to GeoHot's exploit) have decided to remove OtherOS support from all PS3s with the next compulsory firmware update.
And GeoHot has responded by telling everyone to avoid the update and vowing to create some custom firmware...

edit: Oh jailbreak. I believe they have this on ipod touch too. Jailbreak sorta scares me though by it's name.... oh well
