Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
Well she is a transexual. So I'm getting mixed up with her genders.... sorry.
Please don't make fun, it's normal to make mistakes.
Especially if that person is a transexual X_X
Now lets get back to topic. Rayman 1.5
I said this more than 50 times, ITS LAGGING CUZ OF TEAMVIEWER. 50th time I've said it. Phew. Don't make me say it again please.
Anyways we should all do a lrc chat soon!

Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
@Rayfist: try looking at the gender icon above Rayfan's name if you get confused. I hope that helps

51st time I've said it. I know about gender icons. But Rayfan is a transexual! So thank you for nicely explaining. Now lets get back on topic.

But lol, now that that little paradox is over, I'll be uploading a video of my own soon. Although I really don't see much wrong with the video.
Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
It's way to laggy and the graphics look bad. And yes, I know this is because of Teamviewer. But that doesn't matter, it doesn't give us a good idea of the game, Teamviewer or not.But lol, now that that little paradox is over, I'll be uploading a video of my own soon. Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
just this game will be short like rayman 2 and 3?
and for just too know ,are you a guy or a girl?

Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
I suppose you realised that I was talking about Rayfist's video, didn't you?No you look laggy and your graphics are bad.
Quality loss and slowness are a hallmark of VNC sessions in this time ( at least for people that don't have a fiberglass cable or sattelite connection to the internet ), and add the lag caused by desktop recording software up to that and you have a splendid video.
Therefore my point is that only you can make gameplay video's that give us a good idea of the game.
Inside she's a girl, but on the outside she's male. Of course, that first one counts as her true gender. So you'll have to refer to her with she and her.and for just too know ,are you a guy or a girl?

Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
So many people call Rayfan 'he', it gets confusing
Even I do it.
In general, I stick to Rayfan - need to come up with a cuter name.

Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
Well, TeamViewers protocol is based on RFB (remote framebuffer) that is used by all VNC clients, just set on port 80 to bypass firewalls and throttling proxies, but includes improvements like NAT traversal and built-in encryption like 256-bit AES session encoding with RSA key exchange, and uses a central server as the middleman. As you say, one of the main reasons for the slow performance and bad quality is because of the slow upload speeds. But not only is that the issue, because RFB is also being a limitation and unoptimized for those expectations, as it works by transmitting rectangles of pixels over a network, and this method is being inferior to what RDP and X uses, which are by transmitting drawing instructions instead, thus allows faster rendering to the counterpart.Joshua822 wrote:Quality loss and slowness are a hallmark of VNC sessions in this time ( at least for people that don't have a fiberglass cable or sattelite connection to the internet ), and add the lag caused by desktop recording software up to that and you have a splendid video.
Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
Hi there!
It's been such a long time... well, I worked for the next page of the Rayman BD so I hope it will be finished soon when Jinzo colors it. ^_^
I was passing by and wanted to know how are things with Rayman 1.5. I've checked some of the posts to know some news, but well.
Ray, how is it going? ^_^

Anyways, you guys how bout instead of saying "this video sucks, Rayfan is better" Maybe you could be a lot more nicer. Plus the only reason why people hate it is because I uploaded it.
Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
Uhmmm... no, you're misunderstanding us. We're not hating you, and we're not hating the video because you made it. We're basicly saying that it would be better if Rayfan would make gameplay video's herself, because then the video's will not lag this much and the quality of the game's graphics will come out better.Anyways, you guys how bout instead of saying "this video sucks, Rayfan is better" Maybe you could be a lot more nicer. Again, nobody hates you, and we're not trying to flame on you. This has nothing to do with you, but purely with plain technical issues. If you had physical acces to Rayfan's computer, you're video would have done fine.
Why? Well, there's no better explaining then what PowerPatrick said:
