Use ixquick - it's a metasearch engine, which means it retrieves results from multiple search engines, including Bing, Yahoo, AltaVista, etc. where you can filter between all of them. And one of its purposes is to ensure the users privacy. It doesn't even record your search terms, IP address and User ID cookies at all.spiraldoor wrote:Privacy issues.bunnieblaster wrote:By the way: why did you stop using google? Re: Rayman Origins
Rayman Origins has been picked as one of the "Biggest Games of Fall 2010" over at 1UP.com.

EDIT: Sorry, my mistake. It got "Honorable Mention". The Facebook update lied to me.

What privacy issues? D: Does it keep the search history even if you choose not to save it? Because I delete my history cache frequently in a futile effort to preserve HD space, lol. But that's besides the point. If I delete it, does it still stay there? D;spiraldoor wrote:Privacy issues. Not that it’s really a big deal (my search history is rather more innocent than the average internet user’s), but I still value my privacy and would like to prepare for even the small possibility that Google’s records are leaked.bunnieblaster wrote:In a positive or negative way?

Google’s new image-search interface is much better than the old one. I hated having to click each time I reached the bottom of a page.

Google knows everything about you, where you live, what things you like, and that you searched for porn yesterday
But seriously, they save everything about you in their databases.

Just looked it up(on Google, ironically. LOL.), and there are ways to prevent it. And I will be doing as such. Because otherwise I find Google to be a nice search engine, and by preventing the cookie that keeps your info, theoretically it ought to not be able to keep mah stuff anymore. :3 Whee.
...Wow, we're totally off-topic from Rayman Origins right now. XD

It is Ubisoft's fault.Ephriokko wrote: ...Wow, we're totally off-topic from Rayman Origins right now. XD
I wonder if the updates will really appear only in November or begginings of December.

I already use ixquick – it’s how I manage not to use Google.PowerPatrick wrote:Use ixquick - it's a metasearch engine, which means it retrieves results from multiple search engines, including Bing, Yahoo, AltaVista, etc. where you can filter between all of them. You can stop your computer from saving your search history, but you can’t stop Google’s servers from doing the same thing. Which they do. They store your details for several months afterwards.Ephriokko wrote:Just looked it up(on Google, ironically. LOL.), and there are ways to prevent it. And I will be doing as such. What I mean is using specific addons or settings to make it so that you're always using Google through a proxy.spiraldoor wrote: You can stop your computer from saving your search history, but you can’t stop Google’s servers from doing the same thing. They get hundreds of millions of Googlers every day and the site never crashes, so I’d say that’s a yes.StaceyW wrote:Can they really keep up with millions of users using the internet though? =/

Re: Rayman Origins
I watched the video thoudsands of times,
so now i'm looking for any fetures in the video
(backgrounds, enemies, actions) that will probably
be in the real game.
Anyone else did it?
Tell me what you found.

Re: Rayman Origins
I have a theory that the GIANT PINK MONSTER is in fact Ly.
She deserves to feature in a Rayman game, so why not?
