What a great deal!MrBadGuy99 wrote:I also much prefer to have a hard copy of my games. What's more, Game Boy games in particular I do not like playing emulated, somehow I find it far less enjoyable
Besides, I got my copy of R1 GBC by swapping a chocolate bar for it years ago, so I'm sorted ^^

You'd think, but it was on a school trip to Scotland, and the oppressive people in charge didn't allow for much tuck to be had (and the meals they provided were just...rank) so chocolate was like goldHaruka wrote:What a great deal!MrBadGuy99 wrote:I also much prefer to have a hard copy of my games. Oooh I can see now. And in that situation it is like gold!
Re: Rayman 3
But I still wanted that GBC game more. It was the first version of R1 I ever played and I loved it (I didn't know about Rayman Advance)

Tough choice... chocolate or Rayman... chocolate or Rayman... especially given the value of chocolate at the time from what I gather. D:
Reminds me of a choice one of my friends has had to make sometimes; her mom is a really good gourmet cook, and when she had to choose between going home to have dinner or staying longer at a friend's house it'd come down to "friends or food... friends or food.... god this is an unfair choice!" XD

That's not a Duke Nukem quote. It's from the movie They Live.MMMorshew wrote:Also, I once heard Rayman quoting Duke Nukem.
I think it was "Looks like the hoodlums came to kick some ass and chew bubblegum. But they are all out of gum."![]()
Hearing Rayman saying this totally made my day.
Here's the scene:

Duke Nukem developers did however steal it (or pay homage) and make everyone think they made it up.

Does that quote is from the English version? Because I don't remember to listen Rayman saying that, as long as I can remember.

Re: Rayman 3
That commentary has always confused me. Who is the guy doing the commentating? Where is he? What’s his name? What species is he? Does he often commentate on battles that take place in Clearleaf Stadium? Who’s listening to him? Is he broadcasting on radio? Or television? The mind boggles.El Dango wrote:It's the guy commenting the Hoodstomper battle.
