Now I'm not saying I think Rayman Rush is a bad game, but by this logic, you would play a bad game just for the characters in it.Haruka wrote:
It can entertain a Rayman fan for some hours, but I wouldn't recommend this game to a non-Rayman fan. It would get bored easily, especially in Single-Player.

Re: Lore thread
You said that Rayman 2 GBC was "one of the worst games with the Rayman name attached to it". TV Party uses the Rayman name, which is why I mentioned it.spiraldoor wrote:Raving Rabbids TV Party is not a Rayman game in any sense.

Your opinion is effected by the country it is made in?
Re: Lore thread
Calm down ParadoxJuice, if you watch the credits you see it was developed in China.ParadoxJuice wrote:Haruka wrote:Rayman Rush was made in China.

But if I told posts ago that I said that I don't think that Rayman Rush is a bad game, why are you panicing?

Re: Lore thread
Yes, that’s right. I said it was ‘one of the worst’. Both games are among the worst. I don’t see your point.Sabertooth1000000000 wrote:You said that Rayman 2 GBC was "one of the worst games with the Rayman name attached to it". Re: Lore thread
Teehee I've always noticed that thing in Clearleaf.
Re: Lore thread
I am that kind of player that also likes to observe everything but believe it or not, I only noticed this today while I was taking snapshots to the Clearleaf Forest level.
Re: Lore thread
I stared at it a lot as a kid. Maybe the Hoodlums were bored? XDHaruka wrote:

Re: Lore thread
Maybe it’s an oblique reference to Stephen King’s ‘It’?

Not sure if it's exactly "lore", but still...
*peeks in*
Speaking of the entire "Razoff - a teensie or not" thing... Y'know, after comparing him to the grey teensies and especially to the three doctors, I remembered an old article about axolotls (a kind of salamander, if someone doesn't know) I read ages ago.
Axolotls usually stay in a larval stage during all their life, but can be induced to metamorphose and transform into an adult salamander (c). Perhaps same thing with the teensies, and there in fact is some kind of a "trigger" which can make them transform into big green "razoffs"?
Maybe this sounds like a crack theory, but it's only IMHO...

If this is true, this could explain all the Razoff-like creatures in Aeropolis.Julia_Patti wrote:*peeks in*

Re: Lore thread
Keyword "-like". He has too different anatomy from the Aeropolis folk. I doubt if a teensie, even transformed, would grow hair and have straight legs...

Re: Lore thread
Hmmm... Let's see.
Razoff:
Razoff:
- - has no hair
-has 3 fingers (and webbings - at least, seemed to have on the screenshots)
- is spotted all over
-has a slightly flattened nose (similar to the teensie doctors')
-is bow-legged
- - have hair
- have 4 fingers (with no nails, unlike Razoff's)
-have straight legs (almost all)
-have HUGE colorful eyes (Razoff's are beady in comparison to theirs)
-have stripes on the nose
-are multicolored
Re: Lore thread
But that doesn't mean that Razoff isn't a "Aeropolian"... by having a different number of fingers and different pattern doesn't take conclusions. It's like the human race and their skin colour.Julia_Patti wrote:Hmmm... Let's see.

-is bow-legged...But despite all this, they do have common features, so who knows, maybe each large teensian tribe in fact "mutates" into a different form from a different reason.

I didn't deny it, just listed the differences.Haruka wrote:by having a different number of fingers and different pattern doesn't take conclusions. It's like the human race and their skin colour.
AFAIK, Razoff seems to be from Tyr-Kainkou, right? Maybe it's a city where his fellow "swamp teensies" (more adapted to aquatic life) moved ages ago after having been transformed. The Aeropolians could be a tribe of "urban teensies", more adapted to urban life.
And the small grey teensies stayed in the center of the Glade, closer to the Heart of World, as they possibly have more magic to guard it than their bigger relatives.
