Are there full Russian names for any Rayman and Rabbids games at all? Asking so that they can be added to any international titles tables we made on the wiki.

edit: mayeb we should change the title of this into "Rayman multi-language" in general.

I think I can add Portuguese names, at least from the Rayman M manual that is translated.

One thing is for sure, in RGH's Portuguese commercial, Rabbids here are called "Rabbids".

StaceyW wrote:@Julia: probably more like "Razoffu" but then again I'm no expert in Japanese scripts, I still haven't learned all the katakanas yet haha.
I tried to convert it at "Romaji to Kanji" site, and it left one "F" unchanged. So the possible closest variant is "ラゾフ" or "Razofu".

Oh, also as Julia_Patti said, in Russian Razorbeard is Ostroborod or something, well Polish and Russian are a bit smiliar AFAIK, so in Polish it would be something like Ostrobrody, which translates to... Sharpbeard  I like this name :proud:

In Russian he's in fact Ostroborod. And in Polsh, he's properly called Brzytwobrody. Check out in Wiki. :)

Yes, yes, I know. I'm Polish myself
I'm just saying what it would be if it was smiliar to the Russian version :)

This is ridiculous. In Rayman 3, there's a film The Idyll of Bégoniax and Razoff. In Poland, of course, it was translated Idylla Begoniaxy i Razoffa, because:

BEGONIAX
Polish: Begoniaxa (beacuse of polonization of the names)
RAZOFF THE HUNTER
Polish: Łowca Razoff (lub Razoff Łowca)

But, there were many misunderstandings on this movie and many people thought that Begoniaxa is named "Idylla Begoniaxy", and Razoff is named "Razoffa". They probably didn't know that "Idylla" means "peace", "happy life".

About the topic:

RAZORWIFE / MRS. RAZORBEARD
Polish: Brzytwobroda / Pani Brzytwobrodowa
French: well, in Rayman Fanpage she's called La femme de Barbe-Tranchante
German: Klingengirl
Spanish: Esposa de Barbaguda
