Re: Diet
It isn't that horrible, you get used to it quite fast, in let's say a week!I agree with Matyuv, that sounds absolutely horrible, nor does it sound healthy.
And it isn't unhealthy either ( well, at least not if you eat healthy in the morning, and not stuff yourself with sweets and fastfood ). The explanation for this method is simple: if you're moving, digested food will be used to give you energy. Now, if you eat in the morning ( and not after that ) and you have a whole day ahead of you all the food that you will digest in those hours will be turned into energy, and because that's not enough to keep you running for a whole day some of your body fat will be burned as well. If you eat much in the evening, only a small part of the food you eat then will be used to give you energy, and while you're sleeping and the rest of the food is digesting since there's no other place to put it you're body will turn it into fat.
Take it or leave it, though, I don't care.

Sedentarism is what makes people getting fat since energy isn't being used from the food that is eaten. So Joshua is right on his point of view.Serza5 wrote:I agree with Matyuv, that sounds absolutely horrible, nor does it sound healthy.
At least for me, I can eat a lot, and even like that, I don't gain a lot of weight, it only stabilizes my weight.
Hmm... I love duck with rice.

Re: Diet
I would like to hear a dietitian’s opinion on Joshua’s diet. It sound like something someone made up.
Re: Diet
But not every people react in the same way on the food consuming.

Re: Diet
Seriously, I used to be heavily overweight, I always had pain in my stomach and I couldn't even run a single kilometre without being completely tired. I really needed to get rid of about 10 pounds. I tried dieting the orthodox way, but the results were gained so slowly and were so tiny that I always gave up. My sister had a similar case. She invented this diet and started using it. I was also amused by how unrealistic and stupid the idea sounded. But what do you know? A couple of months went by and my sister really lost huge amounts of weight with ease. I followed her example and about 6 months later my weight was perfectly healthy, I felt fit and was never tired, even after running 5 miles, and I never had felt healthier.I would like to hear a dietitian’s opinion on Joshua’s diet. It sound like something someone made up.
So go ahead, go to that dietitian and torture yourself for no good reason. I don't care. It's your body and your life. I've seen what this simple method is able to do to you and I know what I'll do if I need to loose some pounds again.
(I know that I sound like one of those daytime telephone selling programme selling diet pills, by the way

Re: Diet
I can certainly see how Josh's technique would work, since you're burning everything up and not 'refilling', etc. But at the same time, it looks like a drastic measure... not to mention the cravings.
I would recommend focusing on a good breakfast and lunch, and cutting down on the evening meal, unless you're gonna work out HEAVILY at night. The important thing is actually exercising, of course, if you're only aiming to keep fit - though of course you should eat healthily for... healthful reasons.

Re: Diet
I said that I ‘would like to hear a dietitian’s opinion’. I did not say that I would actually go to the trouble of tracking down a dietitian and asking them about it, as I don’t really give a shit if it works or not (I have always been in perfect shape). The way you say ‘It’s your body and your life’ makes it sound like you think I’m fat or something. I don’t quite believe what you are telling me – that your sister randomly invented an amazing super-diet that was extremely simple and that no one else had ever thought of, which lets you permanently lose loads of weight in a short period of time and suffer no negative side-effects. And also, nobody knows about it except for you and your sister. There is something about this that you’re either not telling us or are not aware of. This is a fad diet.Joshua822 wrote:So go ahead, go to that dietitian and torture yourself for no good reason. I don't care. It's your body and your life. And what do you mean by ‘torture myself’? In what way is talking to a dietitian the same as torture?
Re: Diet
I wasn't talking specifically to you Spiraldoor.
Yes, this is a fad-diet for some people. It can help you loose weight, but after that, it's up to you to build out a healthy diet to maintain it ( but if one does what I said previously, eating healthy in the morning, which means eating a good, well proporitoned meal and not snacks, this is really easy )
My sister probably didn't invent it. She probably heard it from soneone on the net. Just search if you really want to find the person who invented this.
We didn't suffer from any negative side effects at all. The human body is much more advanced then some people make it look, it can handle a change in your eating pattern just fine although it may take a bit of time to get used to, just make sure it gets enough food to keep running.
The torturing part was just a little joke ( after all, who'd read long instructions if they were plain boring ), but I can tell you from experience that dieting is quite a depressing thing and that most people doing it would agree that they'd like it to be over as soon as possible.
And I never thought your fat, just for the record. I never think about how a person might look like in real life on the internet, it just isn't wurth the time since I'll never meet them in real life anyway.

Re: Diet
That's indeed one way to do it. And it is certainly needed in a healthy lifestyle. But it isn't the only way to loose weight, nor is it the easiest one. That is insane! If you wanna lose weight, just exercise. It's much easier.
Spiraldoor, don't be stupid. You know damn well what I mean.
Re: Diet
I imagine that'd be quite good, actually. I tried out green tea ice cream and green tea cheesecake, and both were absolutely wonderful.Haruka wrote:StaceyW wrote: Ever heard of green tea kitkats? Re: Diet
I kinda don't like Joshua's idea of a ''diet'', i just see it too hard for me, maybe i could eat everything i eat in a day in the morning, but i'd probably become hungry around 21:00-23.00 PM, i already have a eating pattern, milk, tea or juice and bread at 9:00 AM, Lunch at 15:00 PM, something to eat between 17:00 PM, Tea and bread at around 20:00 PM, then i go sleep. The thing i should remove is the ''something between 17:00PM'', or modify it, because i always eat something unhealty. Also, when i am in school i eat some snacks, which i should not do, that way i would earn like 2 dollars per day.
I don't like diets in any way, i am a little fat, but i maintain my weight by excercising regularly. But, sometimes i feel that soon or late, i will end up very fat, so i think: ''STOP STUFFING YOUR MOUTH WITH DORITOS AND GO OUT IN YOU DAMN BIKE!!''.

Re: Diet
Acording to Wii Fit Plus, my weight is inside the healthy BMI so I don't need radical diets. I just eat normally. If I have hunger, I eat more until I think it is enough. If I haven't hunger, I eat few.
