Exactly. The previous release date was Christmas, and the new one is spring. That means it’s been delayed.jonas333 wrote:No, It says that it won't come this year but in the begin of 2011.spiraldoor wrote:Rayman Origins has been delayed.

Re: Rayman Origins
Ugh I don't want to have to explain the "old news" but; Mr Shade tried to get any news about any delays and that but said that there weren't any, so this news we have today technically isn't old. It's understandable really and I've waited for games that came out like, a year and a half since they had been announced.

Re: Rayman Origins
Mr Shade initially said something really ambiguous like ‘Apparently we won’t be seeing much in the way of content this year’ and everyone thought he was saying that the game had been delayed. He eventually clarified that he had heard no news of a delay, but now the game has been delayed anyway. Yes, time paradox.

Re: Rayman Origins
But I'm sure I saw that article, like, a month ago. Or more. When is it dated? I could be imagining things (seems like I am...)
Yup, I checked - and 'tis early November. I must've seen it and instantly forgotten about it...?

Re: Rayman Origins
If you saw the article, then you must not have told anyone. It was posted on Rayman-Fanpage a month ago, but I don’t think many of us really go there any more.
Re: Rayman Origins
It has been posted a month ago in the French forums, and Candish saw it. She posted about it in this topic and I confirmed what she said.
Re: Rayman Origins
I was already expecting the delay for Spring 2011 so I am not amazed. I see this as a positive thing in the good side.
I must think at another thing to spend on Xmas in this case.

Ahhhh, I remember that, with all the Frenchness - well, it's good to know I'm not goin' crazy.

Re: Rayman Origins
This may sound selfish, but I'm actually glad it's been delayed. This will give me more time to acquaint myself with the PS3 I'm reluctantly getting for Christmas.
I love how the article tells us to be satisfied for now with the original trailer when that's literally all we've had for almost half a year.

Re: Rayman Origins
In a way it's good - if people give me money for Christmas I'll have enough to buy a PS3 and the game with ease when it comes out. Still, I don't particularly WANT a PS3... oh balderdash.
Re: Rayman Origins
That's one of the positive things of the delay.
Anyway, I'll keep praying for a PC release later because I really doubt in being able to get a PS3.

Yes, because you are being forced to purchase Rayman Origins immediately after it is released.Sabertooth1000000000 wrote:This may sound selfish, but I'm actually glad it's been delayed. This will give me more time to acquaint myself with the PS3 I'm reluctantly getting for Christmas.

Blame it on bad luck ...
Unveiled at the last E3, the next title from Michel Ancel, Rayman Origins will eventually absent from this year as originally planned if one believes one hand timing, but also some of our sources that report to carry forward in spring 2011.
Developed by a small team of Ubisoft Montpellier - while another big supervised by Jacques Exertier is busy with the adaptation of Tintin Spielberg and Jackson, the next adventures of the former mascot of the firm French are mostly born in the first game UBIart Framework, a comprehensive solution 'homemade' creation and editing of levels, characters, display, which will be open source in 2011.
As a reminder, Michel Ancel said he wanted to create a title in the first place exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to offer HD rendering according to his wishes, but no ruling out the arrival on other media such as Wii or 3DS, everything is linked to the project's progress and the fact that the team is limited and priority was given to the consoles can offer high definition.
Until more information, find peace and pleasure with the trailer for Rayman Origins presented during the American show and where we find the hair rotator Rayman and the whole leg Ancel ... and if you want to know more about the man, we will know only too advise you to the biography published editions Pix'n Love.

Re: Rayman Origins
You didn’t translate it at all, did you? You just ran it through Google Translate, which anyone can do. I can tell by the lack of coherence.

Re: Rayman Origins
I'm not so surprised of the delay. Seeing that they hadn't released any updates on the game, it felt like something didn't go exactly like the plan...

Yeah, I did. Got a problem?spiraldoor wrote:You didn’t translate it at all, did you? You just ran it through Google Translate, which anyone can do. I can tell by the lack of coherence.
I just felt like saving the trouble for anyone else who can't speak French, because it's not not anyone else was going to.

Re: Rayman Origins
What trouble? The only new or relevant information in that article was in the first line, which had already been translated and discussed at length. You didn’t even bother to clean up the obvious grammatical errors; you just pasted the automatic translation straight into your post. It’s probably taken more effort for us to scroll down past your post each time we view this page than it would have for any of us to translate it ourselves. If we want Google Translations, we can get them easily.

Like I said, it's not like you were going to help.
And there are some people in the world who don't feel like copying, pasting, copyign, pasting, on and on for about 15 minutes, because translator won't take more than 300 letters, and each paragraph was well over 300.
Sorry for trying to help, spiral.
EDIT: I can go back and delete the post, if it will make his majesty happy.
