The only Final Fantasy game that I consider to be worth my time is Final Fantasy IX.

I haven't played the ones you tell me. Actually I'm not a great appreciator of RPGs, the only ones that are exceptional to the rule are the Super Mario and Pokémon games.

Paper Mario was a fantastic experience for me. I bet that Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door must be even better than the original game.

I don't know, I can think of plenty of RPG's that are probably better than Paper Mario. Fallout 1 and 2, the Mass Effect games, um... Dungeon Siege II. But it's just a matter of taste, and what you'd consider a true RPG really.

Civilization 4: Beyond The Sword - Fun turn based strategy game, but you can end up playing a single game for hours

Portal - Really fun puzzle-platformer, I only wish it was longer <3

QWOP - Incredibly hard online flash game. You play as Qwop, an athlete who I swear looks just like Will Smith. Your goal is simple, though not at all easy to complete. You have to run 100 meters, by controlling your characters thighs, and calfs, using the keys Q, W, O, and P. The furthest I've manged to run so far is -0.2 meters, good luck.
I had QWOP open in another tab just now, and he fell over even though I never pushed any buttons

Cave Story - 2D freeware platform-adventure game for the PC that somebody just showed me today, seems pretty fun so far. From what I hear it's similar to Metroid and Castlevania.
