You read badly, in there it says "IT DOESN'T appear in PC/N64/DS versions".

Why is the mention of a character’s name a valid reason for him to physically appear?

I dunno, I think they decided to turn the ''Eig'' in a character for the Dreamcast version

Thoguth swimming was bad in the orginal rayman 2?
Just go ahead and TRY swimming on the ipod/iphone version. The controls for swimming are atrocious.

Just bought Rayman 2 for PC. I forgot how fun this game is!

EDIT: Since I was a little kid, Rayman 2 was my favorite game. So my whole life i've known this code:
(only PC version) Go to the menu, and type gimmelife, to get all your life back.

Fantastic, I found another flash game that I was used to play back in the time of Rayman 2: The Great Escape:

Great find. I thought that Flash game had been lost forever. Now we only need to track down Globber, and that Pirate-shooting game.

Also, I love how this one says ‘2001’ followed by ‘Happy New Year’... you found it exactly ten years to the day after it was first posted on the old UbiKids site.

Thanks, I also feared it was an unrecoverable lost.

Wow, you're right. It's ironic: 10 exact years.

no they aren't...
I've never died underwater.
hold up on the analog, and use the dive button to go down and the jump button to go up, just like in the conosle versions.
I haven't had any trouble with the controls.

Swimming and Barrel blasting is horrible on the DS version. I don't even know why they installed a touch screen controller. It sucks. :L
