I guess you don't bother a lot by reading carefully previous posts.

If you’ve got some rare Rayman pictures that you’d rather we discuss, feel free to post them.Rayman fan2000 wrote:Haruka wrote:I always called him Lunette due to the 3D model picture (it isn't the first time I see it), but I didn't know that it really meaned "spyglass".Why are we talking about languages when we should be posting rare pictures of Ty the tas- i mean Rayman?
Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
Remember Rayman's scrapped hand stand move from early Jaguar betas and as seen in the final in the form of the player in the breakout minigame? Well, they actually made promotional art of it. Sorry about the poor image quality - I had to 'extract' it from a jpeg-ified image of the back of the original Rayman Gold box, which appears to no longer be on the internet, higher-quality or otherwise (well I can't find it at least
)

No worries, thanks for sharing it with us.
Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
This isn't rare, it's in the Rayman M manual.spiraldoor wrote:

Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
Please tell me exactly where I claimed that this picture was rare. Oh wait; that never happened. How inconvenient for you.iHeckler9 wrote:This isn't rare, it's in the Rayman M manual.
That’s because it is. What precisely is your point?iHeckler wrote:I remember one of your posts claiming (quite boldy I might add) his name was Creol.

It DID happen, because you're in the 'Rare Rayman Pictures' topic and you posted it here. How inconvenient.spiraldoor wrote:Please tell me exactly where I claimed that this picture was rare. I thought a few posts ago you were calling him Spyglass Pirate.

Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
This thread is not just a long string of ‘rare’ images that I somehow broke by posting a picture from the Rayman M manual. Most of the images in this thread are not rare at all. Posting a message in a thread does not indicate that its contents are in strict adherence to the subject.iHeckler9 wrote:It DID happen, because you're in the 'Rare Rayman Pictures' topic and you posted it here. Like many characters and places in the Rayman series he obviously has more than one name. Now stop wasting my time with your stupid nitpicking.iHeckler9 wrote:I thought a few posts ago you were calling him Spyglass Pirate.

Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
Good find. The first image is mostly made up of pictures we’ve already seen (although the one in the bottom-left corner is new). The second image is new, and places an interesting emphasis on the General. I suspect that he was the precursor to Razorbeard, and the leader of the Robo-Pirates in this game.

Re: Rare Rayman Pictures
Good job Britta on those two pictures.
The bottom-left one is new, aswell the 2nd picture. Perhaps Razoff's battle was a recycle of the picture where the General is?

Re: Rare Rayman Pictures

Look closely... Rayman’s sneaking with his finger to his lips seems to be a deliberate reference to the Dream Forest picture from Rayman 1. The General is standing on a wrecking ball, and he’s clenching his fist in the air while looking downwards. There are several early Robo-Pirates beneath him, including at least one unit of the famous green TRONCO model with the chainsaw. I think he’s commanding them or giving them orders, and that he’s some sort of high-ranking Robo-Pirate boss, most likely the villain of the game. Am I imagining things, or are those two Razorbeards on the left?
