The first Internet surfing

I think I don't need to explain the creation of this topic. However the statistics will be helpful for me.

When did you interacted with the internet for the first time?

When I was 10 or 11, I think. I had 56K dial-up that would block the phone if someone connected to the internets.

11 or something, then I used the internet to get downloads for the Sims. xD

When I was six, I obtained Rayman Forever (and used Rayman Designer) and started using internet transfer quite quickly, and that was back when the Ubi sharing system still worked. That also included browsing the web. I guess compared to the rest of you I started really early it seems, but I can't ever remember not knowing how to use the internet. Come to think of it, when I was four I always sat beside my mom's work desk and played Jump Start 2nd Grade with my brother who's three years older than me. I browsed a few things on the web back during then too, but I didn't really understand how it worked until I was six. Since I was six, I've been using it quite a bit.

Yeah, I also had a dial-up with my first internetz and it was slow like crazy

Try dial up Dreamcast internet back in 2000 when I was 12/13. Preeeeeeety fuckin cool stuff.

At least when I got internet in year 2000 I can remember how slow it was at the time, and connected by phone. It was expensive too, not everyone could have internet yet, in my country. I just used it to visit kids websites with games, including RaymanWorld.

I'm not sure, but i think it was when i was 6 or 8, i used my aunt's computer, which had internet (I can't tell what one, i just remember it had an antenna.).

I used to visit online games (including the scary maze game...ugh...that one caught me.), not any forums yet.

But seriously, I wish some people would get access to it only as they're fifteen or more. As we say, the web gets only dumber 'cause of kids.

Well, when I was six I could barely read the words maan, roos and vis ( that's Dutch for moon, rose and fish respectively ), let alone use a computer, or let alone what they were.

Probably around 1998 when I was 4 years old, but that was not at home.
