Ok, Rayman 2 is a great game. I'm sure many people understand that by now.
How many ports are they going to make of that game?
Good question. Because without compting Rayman 2 Forever, the GBC version of the game, Rayman 2: The Great Escape is now available for 8 different platforms (including Rayman 3D).Eshap wrote:How many ports are they going to make of that game?

That didn’t stop them from basing the iOS version on the Dreamcast one.Haruka wrote:But I really doubt they will use the Dreamcast version since it is from SEGA.
I know that but still I have doubts. If Nintendo used the Dreamcast version in an intact way I would appreciate aswell.spiraldoor wrote:That didn’t stop them from basing the iOS version on the Dreamcast one.Haruka wrote:But I really doubt they will use the Dreamcast version since it is from SEGA.

Ubisoft is already predictible in certain things.StaceyW wrote:Did it have to? Did it really have to?
- 1000000 for Ubi

Retards? What makes you say this? They are bringing Rayman 2 to a wider audience, some of whom will never have had the opportunity to play it. They are also giving players a chance to demonstrate that there is still interest in new Rayman titles. The stereoscopic 3D effects are something we have never seen before in a Rayman game. The controls will not be crap, because the 3DS has an analogue stick. If you do not deem this new version of the game to be a worthy purchase, then you do not have to buy it. I see no valid reason for anyone to object to this news.Acarr wrote:I knew Ubisoft were retards, but not this retarded. I've played Rayman 2 to death, though I'd loooooveee to see it in 3D! I've just pre-ordered the 3DS today (wooooo!) so I might just get it. Maybe. Of course that all depends because I'm not buying another port, especially if it's as crap was Rayman DS was.
They tried that already, and the resulting product was inferior to the original version. If they’re willing to spend the time and money necessary to give us an entirely new game, I’d prefer if they focused it on Rayman 4.Acarr wrote:What would be cool is if they actually put effort into it andf updated the game altogether to give us an entirely new Rayman 2(If Ubisoft knew what that word effort meant anyway). Brand new levels and worlds, bosses (the 3DS is huge) sex-up the graphics and make the story stronger... Make Rayman's model how he was in Rayman 3?
Raped? When did this happen?Acarr wrote:Ah what am I kidding, Rayman Origins just got raped what do we expect?

The controls in Rayman DS were terrible and yes, hopefully the analouge stick being there will rid that problem but Rayman DS still had other problems, such as nasty glitches. How many more ports for new consoles do we need for Rayman 2 to be available to a wider audience? But then again the 3DS is featuring lots of re-makes of peoples favourite old games such as Starfox 64...spiraldoor wrote:Retards? What makes you say this? Not an entirely new game, but at least boost up the over-all quality of it, being its a re-make. I'd prefer a Rayman 4, but there's nothing saying that we're definetly getting one ever. We do know we're getting this though and it would be great if they made a half-decent job of it.spiraldoor wrote:They tried that already, and the resulting product was inferior to the original version. I'm sure we all want to know more about it and all I'm aware of is that they're failing to do this...Raped? When did this happen?
In the other hand, people who never tried Rayman 2 before can have that chance if they will get a 3DS.StaceyW wrote:You know as much as I love Rayman 2 to bits this has pretty much pissed me off because it's just unnecessary if all it's going to be is exactly the same as all the other versions. Least this Rabbids game is going to be something new.

# Significant improvements on gameplay - This version has beneficiated from a special treatment, offering improved graphics, 3D, and giving players the possibility to take advantage of the analog stick.spiraldoor wrote:The graphics appear to have been reworked. The screenshot of the Prison Ship level seems to have improved lighting effects, I think that the barrel in the Fairy Glade screenshot has been remodelled.
