I became a rayman fan when me and my dad got our ps2 the christmas that followed launch day of the ps2. Since we never owned a ps1, my dad bought me some ps1 games like crash and spyro which were cheap. We would play SSX for the ps2 together also. He started getting me ps2 games a year later because soon I was able to prove that I could take care of my games, and he got me rayman arena as a suprise. I had never played a rayman game before, so I tried it and ended up loving it (which was funny because I remember throwing a hissy fit because I wanted crash 4 for the ps2 and I was 6). I apologised to him later because it was actually fun. then I went over to my cousins house for his birthday party (he was only 2 months older than me), and we got him rayman 2 because he loves platformers. We played it for a long time that day. He would also come over to my house to play rayman arena. Then I sold my rayman arena copy to gamestop when I was 10 (which I regret now). When I was 13, they came out with rayman 2 on the ps store, and I bought it because I remembered playing it with my cousin at his house, then I bought rayman 1 to see where it began. Then I got a gamestop gift card for christmas and I decided to buy some games. I looked through the used rack and I saw rayman arena for 5$. Insta-buy, went home and played it for 12 hrs straight to unlock everything, except the ending because I can't beat speed stress

Then I still had 45$ on my card, so I went gamestop hunting for rayman revolution because I had the crappy ps1 version of rayman 2. Searched online and found a store that had it over in burlington, MA, which was only 30mins away and 30mins away from my dad's office. So I went with him when he goes to his office on the weekend to pick up his check, and we went over to the burlington mall on the way back home, stopping to eat at chili's, and then going into gamestop. I saw the huge rack of used ps2 games, thinking it would take a while, but they were organized alphabetically and I went to "R" and there it was. I also looked around the shelf and found sonic mega collection +, sega classics collection (the one with the 3d ages remakes of outrun alien syndrome monaco gp and the virtua racing arcade port!!!

), crazy taxi, and psyconauts.
You can probably tell I'm a big sega fan.
For some reason I still haven't bought R3, which is still on my list of games to-buy.
