Well what the hell was that? We need to see more of it. It looks like it has potential, whatever it was supposed to be.

Well, that have nothing to do with 2D nightmare, or...? It's fun to beat 2D madness with helicopter power. :D

Not really. I'm still thinking why he posted the video.

What could be better then being able to use the rocket to explore every nook and cranny of 2d madness. If it is in there we should be able to find it that way.

Launching a Shock Rocket along the backdrop from Rayman 1. Never thought I'd see that in this lifetime.

From what I saw in the video, it doesn't show anything new, except the 2D passage that Rayman does normally in the mini-game.

There is no hidden passage. If you tried in any console other than GameCube or whatever console which had 2D nightmare the files for nightmare might not even exists. Unless nightmare is in the same map as madness that would be a really stupid design.

I have seen it but I thought it wasn't a big deal.

I watched the whole video. In the part in LOTLD in a split second you change from Shock Rocket to Throttle Copter. How can this be?

You can bind keys in Cheat Engine to change values.

Does the Rayman 10th Anniversary version of Rayman 3 work, because I tried connecting it to my GC and I can't unlock 2D Madness I thought that maybe connecting Rayman Advance might do something but I don't know how to get 2D Madness unlocked.

You need to go directly to Rayman 3's game in your 10th Anniversary version and make Rayman enter in the cube with the cable, in the map.

I tried that but it only does stuff if I go to the same menu on my GC. Is there anything else I have to do?

Also, I noticed something REALLY weird. However, I have a couple of questions to go with it.
1. How do we KNOW that Razoff's grandfather captured Space Mama? I have never heard or seen anything in-game that states this out right.

2. Just because the Secret Passage text is with the text for 2D Madness, may not mean that it actually goes with 2D Madness.

3. In Razoff's manor, there is a room with a large mirror. When you look first person in this mirror, the candle light effects start spinning.(At least they do this in the gamecube version.) There is an extra effect that spins on the ceiling, literally FEET in front of the chandelier. There are only 3 candles, and there are 3 candle effects plus that extra one.

I can't reach it, but I think that effect means something important. If Razoff or his family had something to do with Space Mama, and since Space Mama's territory in Rayman 1 is Picture city, then the "secret passage" may be in Razoff's Manor. The only thing I can think of that would allow me to get to that shiny bit is the shock rocket, but that's not in Razoff's manor anywhere. Could anyone try to cheat in the GC version to get at the ceiling with an illegitimate shock rocket?

It isn't shown inside the game but if I'm not in error, it was a detail revealed in official press.

We still didn't figure out how can we access 2D Nightmare.

The Space Mama business isn’t directly mentioned in-game; it’s only revealed in this official booklet which came out around the time of the game’s release. The information regarding Razoff’s family which is given in the game matches up nicely with this, so there is no reason to doubt its veracity. I find your Space Mama idea interesting; while it sounds like a long shot, this sort of direct story connection between Rayman 1 and Rayman 3 would be most wonderful... I think someone should definitely hack a Shock Rocket into Razoff’s mansion and see what they can find.

Sidenote: the shards of a shattered mirror lie on the floor in one of the corridors in Razoff’s mansion. Considering the similar mirrors seen in Bégoniax’s hovel and Razoff’s dungeon, I think we can conclude that something interesting happened with that mirror prior to the events of the game. The full-wall mirror in another of Razoff’s rooms is also interesting. None of this has much to do with 2D Nightmare – probably – but it’s interesting in a thematic sense if not a practical one.

That would be really strange if that worked. It would be more likely that if was something similar to the Longest Shortcut like shooting on a wall or something. I guess this won't apply to the PC version trough so I can't try.

Hey, I never saw that PDF before! Thanks for uploading. :)

And why not? Betaman's idea can be tested by someone around here.

But could someone please tell me if there's anything else I have to do to unlock 2D Madness? The only thing I can get is the GBA Bonus games for the GBA Rayman 3. It does NOTHING else when I connect it. Do I have to collect something or complete a level with it in or something?

PS, I appreciate you guys recognizing my idea. I'll look up a code for Shock Rocket anywhere and try it in my game.
