Rayman Revolution Japanese Version

Post by RayBlue »

Hi! :D

I decided to upload this game because I saw that some people want to play this version. The .ISO of the game is archived under a .rar file separated in 9 parts x 200 mb approximately.
Hope you will enjoy! ;)

I will upload the whole game in the next days.
Oh my, thank you very much! Indeed we were looking forward to find the Japanese ISO of Rayman Revolution. :)

Me too, curiously it is the only artwork where Razorbeard is seen in full 3D rendering with R2's design.

Does the Japanese version have any changed character models to make it look more cutesy like Ratchet and Clank or some older adventure games?

Ly seriously looks like she's gone female-to-male in that version, it's that ugly.

I'm downloading part 8. When I get the 9th I'll test the game immediately to see if it works or not.

EDIT: It is working! Once more, in name of RPC, thank you very much! :P

Spotted differences during my gameplay:

- Animated Renderware logo
- Ubisoft's logo appears in a different way
- Title Screen is different
- Loading screens are more simplistic and different
- Naturally different text font, including for the numbers
- Teensie Gatekeeper/Teensies with huge bugsy blue eyes and more lighter clothes. They don't have facial texture (this is also applicated for the icon)
- Gibberish (Raymanian) is the in-game voice
- Globox/Baby Globoxes/Uglette textures don't exist, just plain and lighter colours. Their mouths are plain pinks without textures too (this is also applicated for the icon)
- Rayman's shirt is blue
- Murfy's colours are lighter (this is also applicated for the icon, I think his eyes represented here have a more light colour)
- Normal Spiral Doors instead of being yellow they are blue
- Clark's clothes are plain green, his skin is more orange and his metal spikes are more or less dry pink coloured
- The 3D mushrooms are nearly shock-pink coloured here instead of purple
- When Rayman gets hurt, instead of candles appearing, it appears chicks
- Ly's clothes are in tones of white and pink/purple. Her face is changed (as everyone knows) and her icon is slightly different from the original (her lips in the icon are pink)
- Spyglass' colours are also lighter here
- Gorilla Pirate also looks to have lighter coloured clothes. His model seems to be a little rounder
- Crabs are more yellow and with extreme sides in a strong orange colour
- Polokus' pants are green, the hat is red with yellow symbols and his eyes are white and black. His nails are orange.
- Ssssssam is marine-green coloured
- Eig is orange coloured
- Zombie Chickens are green toned with white
- I think the magical rope of waterski wasn't yellow
- Turtle shells are orange
- Jano is more green and his hat is red and yellow as Polokus'; his arms are also green and white
- The skeleton arms are also (again) green and white
- The Ludiv's colours are also lighter
- The tentacle that blocks the area of the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire is also shock-pink coloured instead of purple

I wonder how you had acess to this ISO.

Well, I could try out among with the Japanese Rayman 1 for Playstation 1, but it would be good that the emulator had a new update, because the game here runs a bit more slow than the European version of RR when I did the walkthrough.

I might come up with the walkthrough since Doragonyoshi didn't finish it. :)

Fantastic. :)

Too bad there's no Saturn emulator capable to run commercial games in a stable way, because we also would like to see Sega Saturn's Japanese Rayman 1 into action.

By the way, could you do a scan of the game's manual?
