So I'd speculate that the Globox Village will be the same as it was and that you will still have to gather the Globox Crystals throughout the game.

Mainly what I'm hoping for is that Ubisoft adds a new thing or two. At the very least I hope that they put the three internet saves that allowed you access to the exclusive minigames in the Dreamcast version as part of the actual game this time, even if they all sort of sucked.
I hope so. I also hope those 3 minigames get included, or downloadable somehow. The perfect would be the VMU animations being also present in the 3DS touch screen, or even graphically remastered.

I preordered a 3DS today, gonna pick it up when I get paid for next month. Had a look at how much Rayman and Rabbids 3D are and ouuuuuuch they're gonna be about £40 max, only just about saw 25% savings on Amazon and Zavvi.

Zool and Plok can't even be called paralleled to Rayman 1 because they were released at least a year before even Rayman started development. Then their development started even way before their release dates and so on.
No, it’s not impossible. ‘Raymanesque’ means ‘similar to Rayman’, not ‘inspired by Rayman’ or ‘derivative of Rayman’.

lol
but the main reason why I'm getting sony's new portable on day one is because
1. it will be hacked in a matter of hours/days like sony's other portables (I'm supporting this because I want homebrew and emulators on this powerhouse!!! with 4 motherfucking cores this thing will be the best homebrew portable known to man)
2. I can play all of my purchased titles from the PS store for my psp on my new NGP for free (this includes "psone classics", psp games, psp minis). Nintendo has no way to put your dsiware on the 3ds without re buying it, and with over 40$ of dsiware I don't want upgrade.

Yesterday I bought this month's Maxiconsolas magazine, and it talks a little about NGP.

But the cover's theme was about Nintendo 3DS so :)...

Iberian Nintendo is accepting free subscriptions for people over 16 years old to try out in Lisbon for 1 hour the Nintendo 3DS some days before the release. I'm going to try to see if I can go or not.

I hope with the new Rayman 3DS that I will not have the hellicopter problems that I had on a previous version of Rayman.

Is the Rayman 3DS a remake on Rayman DS.....When I had the hellicopter problem it was at the very beginning of the game where he is beside a waterfall and he is supposed to hellicopter over to the other side of the water. I could not get over there at all.

Rayman 3D is a remake of Sega Dreamcast's Rayman 2: The Great Escape. Ubisoft is promissing better graphics, easier learning curve and full use of the controls. Now we can only confirm that in April if some RPC members don't buy the console with the game right in the release.

According to the Portuguese Nintendo website it says that Rayman 3D and the console will be released day 25th March. For here I doubt that Rayman 3D will appear right in the first day, knowing ECOFILMES' brilliant job in bringing the games here weeks later.

The new issue of ONM will either come out tomorrow, the day after that, or the day after that.
I'll tell you what they think as soon as I can.

Well, the new issue of ONM is out, and they have not reviewed it.
However, on the 24th of March- the day before the 3DS's launch- they'll have it on their site

Gamesmaster put out a new 3DS special and they gave Rayman 3D an anticipation level of 5/10, which is expected since they fucking hate Rayman and always had done from day 1.

What kind of reviewers are they then? They simply have no taste, sorry about to tell this! :boon:

Well, they probably hate him because of his lack of limbs, being unrealistic, which is particularly stupid because these are the people who think that the Mario series- a series about 2 Italian plumbers who eat flowers that make them shoot fireballs, and save a princess from a bunch of turtles and mushrooms- is perfectly acceptable.

That's such a bad argument to use.

What they enjoy a lot then? Need for Speed? GTA? Grand Turismo?

Most likely GTA, if I remember rightly they gave the third one 98%.

You should see the reviews they've done though, I remember they did one for Rayman Rush which had about 32%, which is understandable looking back, but here's the real bias - they and EDGE magazine game Rayman 3 about 50-55% which is absolute bullshit because even though it was disappointing it was not THAT bad.

In all honestly they're only there to give people an idea on what not to waste money on but it's not always the case but up to the player themselves. A good chunk of games I've got have had really low scores but I have them because they're funny bad.

I can still bet Rayman 3D will get bad reviews, if not then I am giving you all brownies.
