Pardon me my ignorance, but what does the expression means?

I only know two meanings of the word "polish".

I'll just dump this here viewtopic.php?p=548663#p548663

So it'll be like Pingu where they redub everything even if it's gibberish anyway haha.

I was joking – the producer claimed that they had ‘polished the actors’, which makes no sense at all.

OK then, because I also didn't understand.

Lots of new info, but I'm totally confused. I just hope at least some of the new stuff, like globox village and polishing is true..

I wonder what brand of polish they use on actors? I could use some, my actors are always squeaky clean. :lololol:

Lol for this and for me quoting my own comment.

ANYWAYZZ..
I was thinking about is the globox village in or not, and well a kinda stupid explanation for the missing purple lum popped up in my head:
It could make sence, that they "hid" it. If the developers are thinking like I am, those kind of mysteries (for the new players) shouldn't be shown so early in the game. Just imagine, if someone new to the series started off with this game, and on that part he would be completely annoyed of not knowing what is the flying purple ring that hits your face (3D effect) in the middle of a big empity area. He would be stuck on that until OoT is released and then he would forget the whole game.
Lol, not really, but at least he would start to doubt just a little more (already in doubt because of the reviews) that is the game any good.

Yeah, I like to talk a lot of crap

I got the answer, and as I was already expecting: he confused with the power of the Purple Lum being available after rescuing Ly with the appearance of the Purple Lum in the Woods of Light.

My boyfriend just told me that my 3DS is in the post so I should be able to get it pretty soonish now. Oh and look what NGamer said:
Rayman 3D
A loveless port of a timeworn platformer, which lacks any artistic or creative reason to exist. Do we even need to tell you to wait for Mario 3DS? (58%)
Mind that's a better score than they gave to Splinter Cell 3DS (48%) and Asphault 3D (30%).

The entire team should go to consult the psychiatrics, they do must have some problem (envy? jealous?) with Ubisoft's best titles.

When they were reviewing the DSI-Ware port of Rayman 1, they began it with "Oh God. him."
Honestly, I do not know what they have against Rayman- granted, the continuous ports of his games have become a bit annoying (Rayman DS, anyone?) and the Rabbids have shoved him from the spotlight for about 5 years, but at least they should play his original games as they were meant to be played before making rash assumptions.

NGamer bashed the shit out of Travel in Time on the wii as well so I don't think it's only that.

I think you'll find that the first Rayman had a LOT of bullshit reviews even back in the day, solely due to the difficulty. This was before Ecco on the Dreamcast was made, now THAT is a rock hard game.

And you know how in most reviews they have "uppers and downers" - I remember a Dreamcast magazine that gave the game an 8 out of 10 which was good, but they put "Rayman's in it" as one of the downers. No.

But RRTIT is understandable. I still didn't play TV Party, but this is probabily the worst Rabbid game up to date.

By the way, I saw 3DS in the shop shelves already, but no signals of Rayman 3D as I was already expecting.

In the beggining I did, but I still haven't played enough hours in a long-term time in order to really define the game's quality.

When that happened, I really changed up my mind. :tssk:

It arrived

And it's better than I thought it'd be. Just gotta get used to staring directly into the top screen and using the thumb pad [controls are a *tiny* bit drunken but much better than Rayman DS], other than that it's pretty good. No freezes on me just yet like one person on NEOGAF said, and I can also confirm that it uses the ISLE OF DOORS.

I'm up to the Bayou right now.
