Does RPC need a mascot?
What the title says... *shrugs*
I mean a mascot of its own, related to Rayman's world, but not any official char. Any thoughts on that?
If someone has a decent idea to share, I can whip up some concept arts. If someone thinks the mascot is not needed, okay - just tell.

I don't think it's really necessary, but who knows, maybe you could whip up something so amazing it wows us that it's so perfect.
Re: Does RPC need a mascot?
That'd certainly be nice if you could come up with something, yes !

For now, I think a grey teensie would suit the best... *not the big swamp one, as I've probably annoyed everyone with all that Razoffery
*.
It's like with Yotsuba: a little, cute, curious being who discovers new things with same ease as gets over half of them.

I love the concept! But this a PIRATE community, therefore a robo-pirate would be more appropiate for a mascot. Oh you and your teensies.

Re: Does RPC need a mascot?
Indeed, 4chan has a cute little girl as a mascot, so why couldn't we have a little teensie ?

That, and the fact the teensies know all the ways on the Glade. While pirates only catch Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz at the camp walls unless are nudged by someone...

Even so this is the Rayman Pirate Community. It seems odd not to have a little Robo-pirate as a mascot. (Robo-pirate Teensie?)

That's a logo... Or you meant the mecha-"Jolly Roger" on it?

What do you mean by ‘mascot’? Does it have to be an animal or something? I don’t see what function can be fulfilled by a mascot but not by a logo.

I agree, it's awesome enough.spiraldoor wrote:This thing is the only mascot we need.

Yes, I meant it has to be some character.spiraldoor wrote:What do you mean by ‘mascot’? Does it have to be an animal or something?
'Kay, I'll try to explain.I don’t see what function can be fulfilled by a mascot but not by a logo.
Almost every site I have an account on has them, and judging what I've managed to understand - these characters mean a tad different thing than logos: they make the site more recognisable, serve as "face of the community" every member can recognise themselves in; plus, such "common avatar" is simply a fun thing to have. So I was curious if RPC would like to have one too.
Logos are more like door signs - and door signs aren't looked at for long (usually, that is).
Re-read once more my first post.Diamante wrote:But we already have Llamagot and Pedo bear

Back to the topic, we've got 3 different opinions so far... I wonder what will be the final decision.

Voted for a pirate.
