No they don’t. The update you see on their website occurred last year.

I start to wonder how it would be a 3DS version of the game. Would it be much different from the desktop consoles version?

I am very excited about this game coming out...however I am majourly dissapointed that they bring Globox back in it...I'm more of an original Rayman fan...and I like Rayman 3 because of the references from the original Rayman.
However, I understand that there needs to be a transition from rayman 1 and 2 and I guess they need to put Globox in it.
It's funny that they made Rayman a crazy, naughty little guy with Globox...I think I'll find game a very amusing one

You're the first person complaining here about Globox's appearance.

I am happy to see Globox again, at least the game explains how he met Rayman and vice-versa because between R1 and R2 it doesn't happen anything that show us how they met. *Remembers the intro of R2, where Rayman recognizes Globox and hugs him saying "Globox, my friend!"*

I'm also quite pleased to know too, that the Teensies will return, at least one doing the Photographer role, I hope we can see more. :)

I also wonder if Ly will appear here. Rayman also already knew Ly in R2, while in the previous game there was no signals about her.

I love the tall Livingstones new design and (the suppoused) Betilla's younger design (Will Mr. Dark appear too?).

The background never looked so beautiful in 2D before, and if this was played in a big widescreen TV with LED and HD tecnology, I would definitely feel to be in heaven.

Yeah I'm sure you'd be surprised about me complaining about Globox.
I do like Globox...only in Rayman 3 do I like him. I guess because the voice actor who plays as him: John Leguizamo, does him so well =)
I would have appreciated just a revamp of the original Rayman.
And I would like to see the transition from Rayman 1 to 2 in accordance to Ly and how Globox comes into it and and teensies.
I guess I'm saying I'm dissapointed with games like Rayman 2 because there's no mention of the electoons...same with Rayman 3.
And I hope there's some transition from how they were removed in the game, etc.
Guess I hope this game has a clear explanation you know? (I'm not making sense tonight)

But what does is related with the game's quality Diamante? :boon:

I prefer to wait instead of having a rushed and crappy game.

Ubiart still didn't pronounce anything.

With this silence, I believe that only major details will be spoken in this year's E3. I need to stay up late in that day.

And if there are plans for a release this year, I'm sure it will be only for Autumn, or maybe Xmas again.

What’s your problem with Globox? You should be grateful they’re not scrapping all the familiar characters and replacing them with new ones again. The linking between Rayman 1 and 2 is the best thing about Rayman Origins, but it needs plenty of elements from both games in order to satisfactorily serve this function.

i kinda think that they should put globox in an epilogue after rayman 1 and also explain how he met his other friends in that as well. because it confused me that he's in prequel to rayman but wasn't in rayman 1. don't get me wrong i like globox and glad to see him back in a rayman game but it would just make more sense if they explained where rayman came from, how his journey started, etc . (i really want to know more about mr. dark.)

Remember that not every idea comes in the design of the first game, if the game in question has got sequels.

Do you really find this confusing? Globox does not have to appear in every single game set after his chronological debut.

sadly yes. i know i just think it would make more sense if he came in game to fill the gap from rayman 1 to rayman 2.

Don't double post next time, or mods will pursuit you. ;)

But I don't find serious that missing link between Rayman 1 and 2. It could be worse.
