Hello everyone!
I've got a question...
On a Polish auction site (which you may already know - I've seen some mentioning of it) I managed to find a 3-pack consisting of Rayman, Rayman 2 and Rayman M... All of them are for PC...
My question is - is it, in your opinion, worth buying the pack just to get Rayman?
I already have an original copy of Rayman 2 and two copies of Rayman M (by accident)...
I forgot to tell the price - it's 49.90 PLN + 9,90 PLN for shipment (about 12,5 EUR + 2,25 EUR, if I'm not mistaken)...
Even though the price doesn't seem too high in other currencies, it's a little too much for 3 old games - the total of buying both R2 and RM in my case was about 22 PLN...
I've been considering buying the pack for a while...
But everytime I go about buying anything at all, my parents go rabbid with how they would prefer me not spending money on such things...
But I think I'll buy it anyway...
I just hope it's finally a version with audio, since I think the OST is great...
I would recommend getting the PS1 version if you have a PS1, PS2, PS3 or PSP. It always has the full soundtrack, the field of view is larger, some of the sound effects and graphics are better, the cutscenes are better, there are some nice graphical alterations and (most importantly) you are unlikely to come across any of the technical difficulties which have troubled me every time I’ve tried the PC version.
I don't have any of the PlayStation consoles...
I've been trying to emulate the game in the PSX emulator but the application doesn't seem to know when the soundtrack should be played (yes, there's OST in the disk image) which sucks in my opinion...
By the way, I would love to see the diffrences between versions myself, so I won't mind playing any console or PC version.
Speaking of which, does anybody here have any problems with proper sound/soundtrack emulation of Rayman Advance by using Visual Boy Advance?
Even though I have everything unchecked in the options menu and I've chosen to turn SFX and the tracks on, they seem to be missing...
Months ago it didn't happen...
PSX - Only the level select, the very first stage and the additional tracks are played - they seem to be in a diffrent format than the usual tracks, or something...
I would be glad if you could help me with the PS1 emulator, Haruka...

Could you specify? I got curious since I have no absolute problems with the PC version (I'm also originally a PC player of Rayman 1 instead of PS1).
The background music often fails to play for me (I’m talking about the versions that actually have the music), sound effects often play improperly, there are occasional graphical glitches such as missing textures, the load times are sometimes far longer than they should be and the save system doesn’t always function correctly. I’ve also had many problems getting Rayman Designer to work. I just stick to the PlayStation version, which has never given me any trouble at all.
I doubt. I've tested in Windows XP Professional and Windows 7 Home Premium. Windows Vista is similar to 7, so I don't believe a lot that it is related with the OS itself.
