Yeah Neo what you've got to remember is that this is not "other mafia sites". This is RPC Mafia, which is a slightly distorted form of Smogon Mafia, which was quite different to other Mafias to begin with.
Anyway, that was quite fun. I was glad that I didn't have to be the one trying to get the village together this time, good job to Hunch on that although his role made it easier for him. :)
I'm also happy to have surved to the end. Since I was the inspector, my strategy was basically to not seem like a threat. I decided to try posting semi-unintellegently and infrequently to pass myself off as a lower level player. I don't know if it worked but I managed to survive until the end, so I may have just been lucky. 8)
Anyway good game everybody.

Most of you played well, so I've written something about everyone. I think that this game was the best so far, everyone was active and trying to do something, so the Hall of Fail is quite empty. :)

Hall of Fame

1. Pineapple (humch)
He quickly earned the trust of several players, and he's been very deceitful in order to find out the Axis Powers. He hasn't taken any bad decision, thought carefully before doing or saying anything, and led the Allies to victory.

2. Monopoly (mat)
He composed a good fake role pm, took a great risk and managed to convince Pineapple that he was the real bodyguard. However, the real bodyguard died right after ahahah, so he was screwed.

3. Paintball (Quickie)
She contacted everyone and could have been very useful if she hadn't been killed, since the Axis wasn't planning on doing so. She's been confused by Hunch, though, who has been deceiving her in order to find out whether she was telling the truth about her role or not.

___

Skyscraper (Rsandee)
He used his ability nicely, did some research about Hetalia, understood he could trust Pineapple, and has proven himself useful to the Allies.

Echidna (Crap)
Unlucky with his power (inspected A Capella on N0, Paintball on N2), he still found out the two remaining Axis Powers, Hallelujah and Ping Pong.

Diplodocus (Raven)
He has been a trustworthy member of Pineapple's alliance and survived until the end.

Sierra (Jacky)
While he's been playing quite poorly in the mafia topic, he's been communicating quite well by PMs, he managed to earn the trust of both Pineapple and Paintball, and had strong suspicions against Ping Pong, though he didn't explain why.

Ping Pong (Candish)
She somehow managed to get trusted by Pineapple, which was quite stupid of him since she told him she was the silencer, while A Capella was a silencer too... obviously there couldn't be two silencers among the Allies. :P That's probably because she wrote a good fake role PM.

Bartholomew (Dango)
He tried to act, but that was too reckless, so he got silenced and killed...

Goldfish (Xenon)
Didn't have a chance to do anything.

A Capella (Serza)
Didn't have a chance to do anything.

Hallelujah (buildersith)
Did nothing, and was quite suspicious from the start.

___

Hall of Fail

3. Super Star (neo)
He killed Skyscraper for no reason and has been refusing during the whole game to try to communicate with Pineapple.

2. Super Star (neo)
He killed Paintball for no reason while she was going to be very helpful and was the bodyguard.

1. Super Star (neo)
He has been a bigger threat to the Allies than the Axis was.

Maybe that's harsh on neo, but he failed so badly that no one deserves to be in the HoFail with him. But you'll play better next time for sure.

Unfortunately the only piece of info this move gave us was that Paintball was the real bodyguard. We planned to keep her alive to redirect her action on one of us to be safe at night. And then the next thing we know is that she's dead and I'm being lynched. LOL

Candish wrote my fake PM actually, I just made some changes in the night action part and added an idling line.

Anyways, if you guys are up for another game, I wouldn't mind hosting or co-hosting one.

Ah, you suck, then.

But Hunch really believed you, he even bet a beer with Jacky that you were the real bodyguard and that Quickie was mafia ahahahahah.

Thanks for that, there's plenty of valuable info on their site !

Rankings are coming.

Only those who have played at least twice, and played one of the two latest games are in this. I've done two versions : what changes is whether you get a point for winning or not, and whether you lose a point for being godkilled or not.

1. Hunch, 11
2. DesLife, 7
3. Crap, 6
4. Tobbe, 5
5. Serza, 3
6. Jacky, 3
7. mat, 1
8. BadGuy, -1
8. Plum, -1
8. Quickie, -1
8. Dango, -1
12. Rsandee, -4
13. Xenon, -6

2nd version :

1. Hunch, 8
2. DesLife, 5
3. Tobbe, 4
4. Crap, 3
5. Jacky, 1
6. Serza, 0
6. mat, 0
8. BadGuy, -2
8. Plum, -2
8. Dango, -2
11. Quickie, -3
12. Rsandee, -4
12. Xenon, -4

I think the 2nd version is fairer.

And you didn't even get that one directly from me, that would have been a pretty stupid move. I must have told Ping Pong or another mafioso.

As much as I was convinced he was the real one, I took absolutely no decision until my intuition was contradicted... sorry Quickie for being quite deceitful with you but you weren't the only one ;)

I'm not sure I understand, does the second version not take into account whether players survived and were godkilled? In the case, I find the first one better.

In the first version, you get a point if you're part of the winning team, and one other point if you survive. In the second version, only those who survived get one point, and as the godkillings happened long ago, I think they're not important anymore.

My bad then, I do obviously prefer the first version in that case, except maybe on the godkillings, but it's really no big deal. But since my last score was 7 (see page 2), how come my new one is 8, while 3 points should have been added (surviving, winning and topping HoF)? Not that I care that much but I find it rather confusing :fou:

Also, I can see that some of you are willing to host the next game. While you're creating the different roles and deciding on the storyline, I wouldn't mind hosting a non-themed game, reusing Crap's roles from the first game, as I don't have enough time for a whole new game unfortunately. Anyone interested in playing, or, would you guys rather wait a couple weeks till the next one?

That's because I also substracted the points you earned in the other games... :P

I should warn you though they do a lot of experimental stuff, and they have many many different varieties, so don't get confused.

I have in mind a much more simple way to compute scores: +1 for winning, +1 for surviving. And why not, +1 for topping the Hall of Fame and -1 for topping the Hall of Fail. Any comments?

Anyway, we can use several indicators after all.

Without the HOF (but with +1 for hosting) :

1. Hunch, 7
2. DesLife, 6
3. Crap, 5
3. Serz, 5
5. Tobbe, 3
5. Jacky, 3
5. mat, 3
5. Rsandee, 3
9. Plum, 2
9. Quickie, 2
11. BadGuy, 1
11. Dango, 1
13. Xenon, 0

With the HOF :

1. Hunch, 9
2. DesLife, 6
3. Crap, 5
3. Serz, 5
5. Tobbe, 4
5. Jacky, 3
5. mat, 3
8. Rsandee, 2
8. Plum, 2
8. Quickie, 2
11. BadGuy, 1
11. Dango, 1
13. Xenon, 0

Yes, Xen is quite unlucky.

How can one survive without being in the winning team?

Anyway, my position looks terrible indeed :( In the hope of defending myself, my deaths have not been a result of poor playing or crappy tactics, but a result of very unlucky circumstances (apart from the time I was godkilled, but that absence was unavoidable if I remember correctly).

I've concluded that there is no such thing as an absolutely fair representation of players' ability (and yes, I would still be saying this if I wasn't bottom of these charts! :mefiant: )
