Turns out the Americans killed him with fire. Ground forces were able to take the base in under an hour, I heard, and retrieved his body from the burning building a bit later. It's incredible how quickly they were able to do this, considering how he's been well hidden for so long...

But no terrorist organisation worth their salt is going to stay down after this. They'll have a period of confusion, then rally to absolutely pour molten shit on America and co. And after that they'll start in-fighting. This is going to be interesting.

On a more serious note, I'm glad he's gone now. It justs slightly confuses me that people go out on the streets and celebrate. I mean, c'mon, I can perfectly refer to the relieved feeling he's dead, but a death itself is never a positive incident, no matter how cruel the person has been. People who are such a huge threat and were responsible for harming/killing so many people surely deserve it. But it doesn't sound okay to me when people turn it into a celebration. Despite Bin Laden being an utter dork.
