Oh, they've tweaked the covers a bit - now the PS3 cover shows almost exactly the same amount of artwork as the other two. As a PS3 owner, I'm glad to see thisrayguy wrote:The blog has been updated as well, they've put the box-arts of the wii, PS3 and of the xbox360 of the game: http://raymanorigins.uk.ubi.com/
I wonder whether they'll announce any other platforms on E3... I mean if it had more platforms why not post it with the other box-arts?

Re: Rayman Origins
Good to see that the Teensies are back in their normal form (at least the playable ones), I thought that their design was changed for a minute
I still don't like the fact that the Hunter enemy looks like a human now (I never like it when ordinary humans enter a magical world full of unique creatures). Actually, I think it would be cool if he was the same specie as Count Razoff.
And it would be a shame if they didn't released it for PC

They also seem to have removed the Teensie characters from the cover. I suppose it’s better than having them half-covered up by the PEGI logo.AJack wrote:Oh, they've tweaked the covers a bit - now the PS3 cover shows almost exactly the same amount of artwork as the other two. The blog’s been updated again to remind everyone about the conference on the 6th of June; I expect many more updates in the near future.

Re: Rayman Origins
I might get it on the Xbox 360 plus I see nothing wrong with a Wii version cause we need a TRUE Rayman game on Wii that we been waiting 5 years to play
No offense Rabbids but your game is the reason why a true Rayman game took 5 years to appear

Wii isn't a strong platform, average PC can emulate it. I think there isn't any reason to fear, even if PC version wil be canceled.

So these will be the NTSC covers:

And these will be the PAL covers:

@RayBlue
Yup.
I am hoping they will, otherwise it would be a lost bet. But what concerns me is the piracy being a reason to stop Ubisoft from making a PC version, even with the current anti-piracy technology available.
Yup.
Rayman3DS is right. The Wii version was initially planned to be a E3 2011 surprise, but as almost everyone here knows, a clumsy Amazon collaborator revealed that surprise one month before the E3 event in the United States of America's website. At least it releaved me knowing that they would really do it for Wii.Rayman3DS wrote:Because they...want it to be a surprise for E3, i don't know?rayguy wrote:The blog has been updated as well, they've put the box-arts of the wii, PS3 and of the xbox360 of the game: http://raymanorigins.uk.ubi.com/

Calm down, no one confirmed this yet.NotaKuroi wrote:No PC... But will be damned Wii. That make me sad and angry!!!

I expect they'll bring the updated artwork (closer zoom on the top section, no teensies) across from the PAL covers to the NTSC covers. At a guess.RayBlue wrote:So these will be the NTSC covers:

Re: Rayman Origins
Hi, newbie here.
Thanks to everyone who has posted screenshots. As someone who was only six years old when the original Rayman game was released, I've found some of those screenshots to be very nostalgic. I knew 'Origins' was a return-to-roots game, and to me it seems like they've really captured the 'classic' 2D world perfectly.
My only complaint is that I think the game looks a bit too silly and I'm also not keen on the way they've redesigned Rayman. Would have been nicer if Ancel had retained the same appearence for Rayman that he had in the first game. He almost looks too cartoony now, but then again the game isn't designed with us hardcore fans in mind, it's designed to appeal to kids.
I'm (secretly) looking forward to this. Electoons? Darktoons? Mr Dark? Hunters? Moskito? 60 Levels, just like the first game? I'm sold!

Well, with this whole multiplayer thing + no online, I can't see it going on PC

Rayman M had multiplayer with no online possibility and it got a PC release as everyone knows...Rayman3DS wrote:Well, with this whole multiplayer thing + no online, I can't see it going on PC

And? That's not a valid reason to stop a PC version to be made.Rayman3DS wrote:Well, with this whole multiplayer thing + no online, I can't see it going on PC
Here's one example.rayguy wrote:Rayman M had multiplayer with no online possibility and it got a PC release as everyone knows...
Since Rayman will become now a quadrilogy, I also remind that the trilogy was released for the PC: Rayman, Rayman 2: The Great Escape and Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.

I actually don't like when people start complaining about Rayman's design and about him (or the rest) looking "silly" (Especially fans that got shocked about this and start to do too much quick conclusions, YouTube comments are a great example). Several months back I've debated about this issue, and I think it was a smart choice making Rayman with R3 design. Who said the game would just be for kids only? Most of the veteran Rayman fans here in the forum are in average, pre- young adults.

Re: Rayman Origins
I think for PC devs may make online-coop. I think this better then 4 players in room. For me very difficult find partner for coop behind my friends. Maybe only sisterRayman3DS wrote:Well, with this whole multiplayer thing + no online, I can't see it going on PC
Re: Rayman Origins
Honestly I don't think they would create online exclusivity to the PC version. If the other consoles won't have (and these are capable to do online tasks), then I don't see why PC would get exclusive.NotaKuroi wrote: I think for PC devs may make online-coop. I also find better the co-op be in the same living room. But my problem is that my closest friend that is also a fan of Rayman lives about 1500 KMs far from me
