That you fail at playing a game doesn't mean it's programmed wrong. The collision detecting in Rayman 2 was great, especially for it's time.

I am aware that many Crash Bandicoot fans disagree with me about Twinsanity; perhaps this has something to do with the fact that I formed my own views independently, without being influenced by HP Zoner’s glowing review on Crash Mania or his very negative review of The Wrath of Cortex (a game which I thought was a step in the right direction for the series, despite its lack of creativity; at least it still felt like a proper Crash Bandicoot game).

Yeah, you're that guy who considers himself to be the gold standard. I'd like you to know that I remember this quote from crash mania, and I remember feeling very angry at the time. I loved Twinsanity long before CM or HP- it's how HP and I got to talking and became friends. The influence you claim he puts upon others opinions is only what I've seen you try to do here today, and I shall do it myself right now :V

Because you obviously have no taste in games, if you think wrath of cortex was a great game you're naturally love R2. WOC also failed to do anything innovative or new with anything in particular while Twinsanity attempted to show us a side of crash we had never seen before. And guess what, I used my own brain to come up with the opinion. I also used my own brain to figure out that you're a bigger douchebag than me. How did yours cope with that?

EDIT: If I fail at R2, why do most others I know experience the same problem?

Yes, someone did ask that question a few posts ago, but the question was ignored. I couldn't find the picture of the black clothed Teensie, so thanks for that. I guess they thought a playable character shouldn't be dressed in black clothes in such a bright world where evil is represented by black. Maybe even the main antagonist is black...
Now, I have pictures from R3 and RO that I think are similar, but I don't want to get into the argument so... yeah.

Both pictures have that faraway castle which is both epic and unreachable at the same time.
btw, I asked some friends of mine in school if they ever played a Rayman game, and those who knew what I was talking about said "It's that character in the rabbits game, right?" Some of them played some R3, but no more than that. We truly live in hell, my friend.

You guys, stop arguing! You can't persuade one another to love games you obviously hate so there's no point! This argument is stupid and has no place in this topic!

You two aren't the only ones to put a full stop in the subject and returning to Rayman Origins. This won't go anywhere like this.

About the wizard clothing and the black clothing? Maybe it is a last-hour change to suit more the 4th Teensie to look like a kung-fu fighter, or there might be the possibility to players be able to change the skin of the Teensies with unlockables.

I feel the argument is relevant for me because i'm not sure if I'd want to come back. Seems like R2 has brainwashed the entire Rayman contingent, despite everywhere else I've been accepting the game as otherwise. Which it is. I've not been convinced otherwise here.

Yup, one day I was playing Rayman in the PSP at the stairs of my house with my friend when another friend of mine appear and asked what I was playing, I said Rayman and then he said: That silly game with bunnies? Give me a break! and start laughting

The impact that the Rabbids had. They didn't know the other games for sure, or the real story behind RRR.

You are being unfair. Ancel only created the character itself. The real fault of what Rabbids become in the end was the Ubisoft team behind the production of RRR.

I'm not being unfair at all. He made it very clear that it was his idea and that he wanted to be the face behind it.

See, you treat him like a god. I love what he's doing with RO by cutting out the bull and having fun, but it doesn't mean he made major mistakes.

Well, that shouldn't matter now with RO coming out!

Now with the game itself- I'm not sure I like the idea of unlockable skins, since every character has to have at least one, and they'll probably mess up with Rayman's, but that's just me being pessimistic again...

And yes, Rabbids the mini game extravagnaza is what he put his face on. I have the trailers, magazine interviews and everything. Caffineman musta gotten them all distracted.

Also, they're doing a comparison (not the first one) between RO and "new super mario bros. wii" and they also mention the Glacier Cocktail level (maybe they got to play and will post a video...?)

Also, they're doing a comparison (not the first one) between RO and "new super mario bros. wii" and they also mention the Glacier Cocktail level (maybe they got to play and will post a video...?)

There they are again comparing it to NSMBW, If im not wrong NSMBW isnt the first 4 co-op game, there are thousonds of them (Digimon World 4 for exemple was created in 2005 and had up to 4 players co-op and when one player died you just had to hit it so he could continue)

There are 3DS rumours running up, but I believe that a 3DS version and a Vita version will only be done in 2012.
