Re: Rayman Origins
It's not just about secret areas, even the main path in many R1 levels was quite sinuous.

Re: Rayman Origins
And do not forget the mechanic of stuff appearing/disappearing because you passed some point (was the "Gendoor" name official?). This made structure of some levels really bizarre.

Re: Rayman Origins
Yes, you all said wonderfully what I expressed like an idiot (seriously sorry, I didn't know how to say what I meant
).
btw, Hunchman, if I use dropbox (an internet inventory website where you can upload files and share them) to upload images, they won't weigh much, will they?
Edit: The RO official website has links to some articles about RO and one of them has a new gameplay video not posted here-
http://www.g4tv.com/games/xbox-360/6398 ... d-so-good/
It has the daisy boss fight (why do I call it fight, they can't even hurt that beast!) and more footage from the desert level! This means we now have 3 desert videos, one of them full (not this one) !

Re: Rayman Origins
I can't speak as Hunchman, but Dropbox doesn't do anything to your images, so they will weigh exactly the same they did before you put them there.

Yes, but they're in the internet. Example-stan423321 wrote:I can't speak as Hunchman, but Dropbox doesn't do anything to your images, so they will weigh exactly the same they did before you put them there.

Re: Rayman Origins
This image doesn't even work for me, to be honest.
Back to topic. Do you think Gendoors plus multiplayer would equal to nonsense?
And is there a good replacement to heart baloon mechanic? I personally would prefer normal HUD based info or characters making faces, because when more characters are near each other, baloons overlap to the extreme.

I was afraid that might happen. Guess you have to be logged in to my account to see itstan423321 wrote:This image doesn't even work for me, to be honest.

I don't think they'll put Gendoors. As you said, multiplayer and Gendoors do not go well together.
btw, did anyone hear Ancel in the video? He says that Mr. Dark will be there, and that there will also be a "crazy English hunter". i don't know if he means the regular hunter, but I'm pretty sure he means an actual antagonist which will be a major boss.
I think I might upload the desert part of the video on to youtube, but I'm afraid they'll ban me

Re: Rayman Origins
It is pretty obvious they won't put Gendoors, what does make me interested is the possibility of using them in way not disrupting multiplayer. This would of course mean lots of stuff, starting with objects appearing in other players and ending with some clever one-way fixes.
Re: Rayman Origins
Well the new hunter design ressembles a lot the traditional english man.iambored2006 wrote:btw, did anyone hear Ancel in the video? Re: Rayman Origins
The pose, monocule and moustache quite gives that idea right?
I also liked the original Hunter.

Re: Rayman Origins
Perhaps the ‘crazy English hunter, trying to hunt different characters and the player’ will be one of Razoff’s ancestors. Ancel mentioned him in the same breath as Mr Dark when he was asked about returning characters.

Don't most Americans still think that we stand around drinking tea, sweeping chimneys and affecting a Cockney accent?Haruka wrote:The pose, monocule and moustache quite gives that idea right?![]()

Re: Rayman Origins
Is there any possibility of Murfy appearing in this game?
I would like to know how Rayman meet him.

Re: Rayman Origins
Yes, but she's also a bimbo. I hate it when people do that, taking pretty and stupid women and put them in these jobs with skimpy clothes on and giving them lines to read from. If there's anything feminists should fight against, it's this. It's not that I care about them being beautiful and all, but they're just ruining the interview which should be with people who actually know who Rayman is. Same goes to the male interviewer.Paradigm wrote:Thanks for the link. That female presenter is a babe!
On to the topic, I like the idea of Zaroff or any other ancestor of Razoff to appear in this game, it'll be awesome! (though will it be him or his ancestor...?)
I'm also uploading the desert part now, should be able to post it here in a few minutes.
Re: Rayman Origins
Yeah but he says glad to see that you escaped Rayman like he already know him, but I forgot that then he intruduces himself.spiraldoor wrote:Tmsp95 wrote:Is there any possibility of Murfy appearing in this game?

If they ban my account, I'll be pissed off!!! But seriously now, is there anyone here who thinks these videos are useful? Some feedback would be nice

They act like they're really big fans of the series. Nice to see.iambored2006 wrote: Edit: The RO official website has links to some articles about RO and one of them has a new gameplay video not posted here-

Re: Rayman Origins
Say, do we know how long the levels are going to be?
