Yet H801 was the first person who actually explained it well to me. If I recall corectly, it is division by PLUS zero, so it is guaranteed to be positive infinity with "first number" being bigger than zero and still "normal" (not another infinity or something).

1/(+0) doesn't mean anything. 0 has no sign, +0=-0. Hunch was probably talking about limits, something like that. Dividing by zero is a heresy and should be punished by death.

Let's wait for H801 then and check what was he talking about. I really do not think it was connected to limits.

And division by zero is very useful at obfuscating code. It can be used as discard statement in some GLSL compilers, or really wtf C code call.

DesLife is correct... of course this is connected to (one-sided) limits.
+0 is zero approached from above and -0 is zero approached from below. I assume the notation "1/(+0)" that you're using is a short version of limx->+0 1/x which equals to positive infinity indeed.

Stan probably meant 1/0+, which is obviously short for the said limit. 0+ is not to be confused with +0, which means nothing more than 0.
