Actually I think they’re called ‘staves’, which is the plural of ‘staff’, though ‘staffs’ is usually used when you’re talking about the wizard’s stick sort.

I actually thought that one of the platforms in the desert looked a bit like a drum when I first saw it, but I dismissed the idea. Now that I look more closely, I think the long wooden platforms might be didgeridoos. The gong/Band Land connection is so obvious that we all overlooked it, especially in light of the gongs in the Desert of the Knaaren. Here’s a comparison of the flute trees in the two games:

I am very excited about the Land of The Death. The death medallions will unlock those levels. Then, imagine if those levels were Rayman 1 Levels with RO-graphics. That would be awesome. And I really hope that Mr. Dark will be the Final Boss in this game. He must be.

Here's a link to one of them, for all those who haven't seen it.

Then I think it is the first time that Wikipedia fools me. I know that staff means a Wizard's magical stick by the way. There are other definitions for staff depending of its context.

I never thought of the flutes in R1 as trees.

Mr.Dark must be the final boss. And the slides must return. I think they will.

My uncle is at the comic con, he said he would check out the booth, and send me some pictures.
I'll try to upload them here!

I'll tell you, but PLEASE upload them when you get them! First of all, you can upload them as an attachment ("upload attachment" is under the text box) but because these are probably gonna be big pictures, and you don't want Hunchman to be mad about this, trust me, then upload to a webiste. I'm using Imageshack, but you can search for others if you want to. Just sign up there and upload the image, then open it in a window and use the link here (in Img...)

Edit: Woah, tomorrow?! Thanks, man! I was thinking at least a week or so.

iambored2006 wrote: First of all, the most "telescopic" fist was in R1. I think it's actually called that in R1 but I'm not sure. Secondly, about the characters, there's also an orange Teensie in the box art. The skull coins are named Death Medallions and they unlock levels in the LotD. The purpose of the cages is still unknown, but I think we can say for sure that they will open the final boss, like in R1. Also, Ancel Said that there will absolutely be no rabbids and he was quite clear on that.
List of cr*p I have to say (sorry for the Tl,Dr):

-Well, why you call R1's fist "telescopic"?, it doesn't make any sense. In rayman 2 and 3 is kinda acceptable to call it "telescopic" because you fight with a target marked, but in rayman 1? come on, he just launches his punches, just like in rayman origins.

-Thanks for the information about the Death Medallions, where did you find it?

-Who knows, in RRR gba is said that the rabbids are a much older species than rayman himself, and used to be nice guys, until other creatures played pranks on them because they were really stupid, so they hid for a long time (that time would be chronologically rayman 1, 2 and 3) to take their revenge. If the story takes place in the origin of rayman's universe, and rabbids aren's supposed to mess up Rayman's chronology, they should have at least one appeareance. Well, maybe they wouldn't be playable because rayman isn't supposed to meet them before RRR, but maybe, and JUST maybe in my fanfictional mind they would make a cameo, being beaten by a bad guy in the backgroung or something. The same problem would come up with Murphy, because he's one of the most hilarious characters from rayman series, but isn't supposed to meet rayman until rayman 2.

And Finally, EPIC FANART TIME!

It's called so because Rayman's "unexisting" arm presumably extends like a telescope does.

That's why I still don't pre-order. I want to make sure if there are goodies for later pre-orders.
