For a minute there I was like ''whoa I don't remember posting here'' haha
If I may reply in the place of him, Revolution is a bit harder, more open and just feels much more free-roaming, the list of pluses goes on.

Re: Rayman 2
Emulation is slow. Especially one of relatively new console.

Re: Rayman 2
Maybe I can try an BIOS of an older PS2 version, if there are any.
Re: Rayman 2
The emulator works fine in both my Desktop PC and Laptop. However the emulator itself needs to mature a little: there are some level fragments in which the FPS low down to 40s, 30s or even 25s.

Do you still use Win. XP?Haruka wrote:The emulator works fine in both my Desktop PC and Laptop. However the emulator itself needs to mature a little: there are some level fragments in which the FPS low down to 40s, 30s or even 25s.
Re: Rayman 2
I use Windows XP Professional SP3 in my desktop computer. In my laptop I use Windows 7 Home Premium.
Re: Rayman 2
I never could run a ps2 emulator in Windows XP
Re: Rayman 2
The operating system isn't a determinant factor of the malfunction of the emulator.
Re: Rayman 2
just download the gog version
Re: Rayman 2
Rayman Revolution isn't the same thing as the classical version.
Re: Rayman 2
That actually happens in the console version. It it isn't your laptop or the emulator (they could update the emulator though to be better than a ps2). I own revolution for my ps2 and it has the exact same slowdowns your talking about.Haruka wrote:The emulator works fine in both my Desktop PC and Laptop. By the way, I just got rayman 2 for my dreamcast so I might do some revolution/dreamcast TGE comparison videos.
Re: Rayman 2
Then your PS2 must be wierd because when I play it in a real PS2, the FPS are stable in the 50.

(this is not the ps2 version wich contains more levels and a hub)
Re: Rayman 2
The CD version can also, expect that appears to have problems in Windows 7 and Vista.
I already got the GOG version, I'll test after in my laptop to see if the pirate head really disappeared.
