Shit. The idea makes me think of how sweet it would have been if we had a Rayman 1 competition. Fastest completion or completion with most life for those who are interested on this forum. And when we were done we could get the winners. Are you with me or do you think its a bad idea? I want to hear your opinion.

If I were you, i'd make a topic about it.
Also, let's not get to much off-topic, or you will loose tings and I will get a ban.

There's no official confirmation yet from Ubisoft.
RayTunes wrote:Rayman Origins will have wi-fi?
For online co-op, it will definitely not; as Ancel said in some interviews. He even explained why. Now if it will contain any online support it is for other stuff I think.

Really? I think it's in RayWiki...
I'm sure you confused with anything else. I guarantee you that because I'm one of the most active contributors of the encyclopedia.
RaymanPS1 wrote:I could do a playthrough of Rayman 1 or something, but it would be crap quality. I would like to show that you can complete Rayman 1 on PS1 with 99 lives. :P
I can confirm it is possible to do that in the PC version. And perhaps in the GBA version too.
RaymanPS1 wrote:Isn't there a way I can play Rayman 1 on Emulator to play a perfect Rayman 1 game? I need to impress myself and show that I can complete Rayman 1 without dying once.
The PlayStation 1 version for example, or the Game Boy Advance.
RaymanPS1 wrote:Or wait, isn't that what HarukaTavares is doing?
Yes, I actually recorded my walkthrough for the PS1 version around 2 years ago if I'm not in error but it lacks a bit of overall quality. That's why I'm recording again to achieve much better quality than ever.

I love this idea, mainly because I'd win...

I've played the game as far as Twilight Gulch without losing any lives, but have yet to beat that record. And sod's law, you always die on the least difficult part!

With so little information happening right now I'm struggling to find stuff to post...I think some people (not you guys) are being to harsh on the new Rayman game, fail or succeed, for old Rayman fans it'll be a chance to get back in the action, and for new fans, it'll be the birth of there gaming love.

Also, I find it strange that on a website dedicated to Rayman we still get that it's not a word...maybe someone should fix that...

Rayman Origins is a fantastic idea. Rayman 1 has told me what a real game should be like. And as much as I love Rayman 2 and Rayman3, and as they will always be some of my all-time favourites, they never had that magical feeling Rayman 1 gave me. I'm happy to see that Ubisoft likes to give this feeling back, and so far they're doing a good job at it.

Still, I do look forward to their promised 'future 3D games'

I think Rayman Origins is gonna be very good, but I still have to admit that it will never give me the same feeling that I got as a young kid playing Rayman 1.
By the way guys, visit my new topic: Rayman 1 Competition

Wow,they've promised new 3D Rayman Games? I really hope it'll be much more like Rayman 2 than like Rayman 3...Well,I'm more happy with R3 since I remembered by playing again that the Leptys power giver you the ability to get normal red lums and with it's R2 sounf effect :D Well, sorry for the off-topic but as nobody has spoken in the R3 thread since I spoke 1-2 days ago, then I'll have to make a quick question here.I heard there was an explanation for the red lums being orbs in R3,somebody can tell me it? I always wondered why and I preferred the normal Lums from R2...Again,sorry for the offtopic but I would do double post and no one would answer me if I posted this in the R3 thread

I personally love Rayman 2 more than any other Rayman game. It really clicks to me when I play it. Sure it's stupid with all the remakes, and yes i admit it, Rayman 3D is a bad game. But that still doesn't change the greatness of Rayman 2.
Rayman 3 is also a very good game, but the guys at Ubisoft tryed to make it a bit to cool. Anyway, I sure am looking forward to playing the new 3D Rayman, but RO will do for this year :D
