Re: All you need to know about Pirate-Community
OK, I have a question.
Normally multiple posts are regarded bad. I found a few reasons of this happening. The primary one is obviously that allowing multiple posts would make most people splitting their posts into sentences or something and get more tings. The secondary is it messes up with people thinking twice before clicking submit button or posting "LOL I meant fagotto" posts instead of editing old ones.
However I think I do find some cases in which multiple posts would be lesser evil. I would like to actually consult 2 cases.
CASE 1: My game topic obviously wasn't interesting to most people, however I ended up finding out at least 1 would be interested in a vid. I think I am able to make one, still I do not know whether to do that as I am last poster in my topic and editing last post would leave users unnotified.
CASE 2.
I read there was RPC Mafia, and I thought about introducing more complicated Poland-originating game called ktulu here (we are editing rules with friends and we removed 2 (yes, 2) Lovecraft references). The game is split in days and nights, and the host of the game speaks, like, a huzzah-lot during night. If multiple posts would not be allowed, there would be no easy way to tell the players what already happened during night, as PM copypasta would be awful and editing last post would leave users unnotified.
I would like to ask moderator team about both these things separately.

I think it is fine to bump a topic in this way, especially your own. If I'm doing that myself though, I usually copy my last post, delete it, then paste it in a new one and add the new info. If you're too lazy to do that, you can just double-post.Stan wrote:CASE 1: My game topic obviously wasn't interesting to most people, however I ended up finding out at least 1 would be interested in a vid. Multi-posting is fine by me in that case as well. Why don't you create a new topic about that game or at least give a full description of it somewhere?Stan wrote:I read there was RPC Mafia, and I thought about introducing more complicated Poland-originating game called ktulu here (we are editing rules with friends and we removed 2 (yes, 2) Lovecraft references). Can I ask a question
How comes some guys have strange avatars (looking at Deslife) and how do people get avatars worth so many more tings than they possess?

DesLife won the avatar in a quiz. Not-Rayman related avatar's cannot be achieved anymore. By winning a quiz or making the signature of the month, you can get a special rank that has to be Rayman related.
The quiz:
viewtopic.php?t=4772
Collection of special ranks:
viewtopic.php?t=5677
How to get a better rank:
Every post you make gives you 5 tings. You must post a lot to get them. If you post much daily, you can achieve it quickly. I have a high rank that I earned in less than a year. Making signature's for other people also earns you tings, as well as entering your Rayman 3 score in the hall of fame, and advertising the forum on different sites.
List of ranks:
viewtopic.php?t=194
My signature's:
viewtopic.php?t=7309
My advertisement for the site:
http://www.youtube.com/user/RayTunesOfficial
Earn tings by playing!

If you have any question's, be sure to let me know.

Re: All you need to know about Pirate-Community
I'm sure this won't be approved but loyal members to the forum that have a minimum ammount of time of membership and participation in the forum, could be able to choose special avatars.
Re: All you need to know about Pirate-Community
No way
We'll probably have many new ranks once RO is released anyway.

Hey Hunch, the front page from the site now has two new screens about a walkthrough from Haruka. However, both the Rayman 2 and Rayman 3 screens send you to the Rayman 1 playlist.

Hey Hunch, will you add my channel into the Affiliates page?
I can also advertise the forum in my channel too.
