Re: Rayman 3D
I think that the fact of Ubisoft taking off the Flying Shell turning button it only made its controlling harder. And they said that they intended to make the game easier.

Re: Rayman 3D
^Casablanca.
Yeah that and the fact that I died about 4 times at the hot air balloon is embarrassing for me, but not as embarrassing as how many times I a) couldn't get over the GAP IN THE WOODS OF LIGHT WHERE THE BABY GLOBOXES ARE, and b) how many times I died in the FLOODING PART OF THE PRECIPICE in Rayman DS. Oh my gooooooooooooood </troll2>

The flooding part, the flying shell part, the helicopter bombs part and many others I cannot remember.
Re: Rayman 3D
Ubisoft is lazy. They always think about the past and the present, never about the future.
Think about this: When Rayman 1 became a success, they decided to not make sequel, but instead make spin-offs.
Learning with Rayman, Rayman Forever, Rayman Gold, Rayman Activity Centre.
After years, Ubisoft makes Rayman 2. The game becomes a huge success like Rayman 1. The following happens: spin-offs.
Rayman 2 for PS2, Rayman Revolution, Rayman M.
2000: Ubisoft creates a GBC remake for Rayman 1.
2001: Ubisoft creates a GBC remake for Rayman 2.
Rayman Advance is released. A remake of R1.
Ubi creates Rayman 3, with much less help from Michel Ancel. The game is quite different from the first two games.
Rayman 3 gets a GBA game, and it is almost identical to Rayman 2.
Rayman 10th anniversary is created. A collection of old Rayman games.
A new Rayman game is made for the GBA: Rayman Hoodlums' Revenge. The is very much identical to Rayman 3 and somewhat similar to Rayman 3 (GBA)
Over the years, Ubisoft creates remakes for Rayman 1 & 2.
2006: Ubisoft cancelled an amazing project and turns it into a party game: Rayman Raving Rabbids.
Rayman Raving Rabbids recieves a GBA game. It is very similar to Rayman 3 (GBA) and uses sound effects from different Rayman games.
Ubisoft makes Rayman Raving Rabbids DS. It has old sound effects, bad quality, and bad music. The game is small.
Ubisoft makes more party games similar to RRR: Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 and Rayman Raving rabbids TV Party.
RRR DS games are made, ans they are terrible.
Rayman is removed from the series.
Ubisofts starts making remakes from Rayman 1 & 2 for several years.
2011: Ubisoft decided to make a NEW GAME.
Do you see the pattern? Ubisoft is lazy.

Re: Rayman 3D
Well Mario also has got a lot of spin-off games and yet it didn't stop Nintendo to make new "real" games. I know, Nintendo cannot be compared to Ubisoft; just a note.
The spin-offs of Rayman aren't bad at all, the majority at least.

Re: Rayman 3D
They aren't all that bad, but they never make something new until they pull the last bit of energy out of a game.

Yes,that's something that annoys me.And that's because I know we will have to wait for a few years to get the next game after Rayman Origins...

That depends,TeensieKing wrote:Yes,that's something that annoys me.And that's because I know we will have to wait for a few years to get the next game after Rayman Origins...
Rayman Origins will be a huge success. Besides that, Ubi promised new 3D games in the future.

Actually, I can't remember where it's from. I do know it was quoted during E3 2010.TeensieKing wrote:Yeah, but if you think of it carefully, you see they haven't promised the would make them soon xDRayTunes wrote: That depends,

My sister bought it and hated it, so im getting it for FREE! So ill be buying a 3ds soon because of there little price cut
Re: Rayman 3D
At least since I bought the 3DS with full price I'll get 20 games for free during this year.Rayfist090 wrote:My sister bought it and hated it, so im getting it for FREE! So ill be buying a 3ds soon because of there little price cut
I got Rayman 3D sealed by factory for only 18€, quite a bargain. I didn't feel like spending 50€ right away for a game that is almost 12 years old.

In shorter words, I like to grasp the actual thing in my hand.

Re: Rayman 3D
I would like to play the Zelda one anyday. I never played the original of the N64 so I think it would be a great opportunity playing the 3DS version.

Re: Rayman 3D
I bought Zelda with my 3DS as the first game, actually. Didn't begin it yet because of lack of time.
