i only played RR, R2 and R3 GBA
there wasn't really a change of difficulty only on the GBA

I played R1 for GBA and PSX; R2 for PC,DS; R3 for PC and too Rayman Revolution for PS2.

I simply think that Rayman became easier and easier through the years.Difficulty ranking (for me):

R1>RR>R2>R3

I'll tell ya ma score later xD I dunno it now and I'm too lazy to start the game...xD I'm now in a level in wich you have to run of a lava sea wich is growing and Andry just laughs at you and say you'll die now...Oh,and I forgot I have to save Globox.
I don't like those levels,I think that if in the future we get a R4 it has to be more difficult and OVER ALL have a warproom or something to choose wich level you wanna play...

PD: What happened when you beat Reflux in the final battle?You can't play anymore in that savegame?

Oh,and that's another bad thing.You have only NINE levels.But they're too excesively long...I prefer the R2 style for a 3D platformer...But,now I think we've gone offtopic.That thread is abour Rayman 1 and we're talking about R3,in wich almost no one is talking xD why don't we continue there?

Hey, does anybody know if this cheat works for the ps1 version of Rayman 1 which I found on Gamespot?
This is what it says: ''Big Rayman: After the Ubi Soft logo appears,, press and hold L1, L2, R1, and R2.Keep holding these buttons until the animation of the brick wall appears. Continue to hold these buttons but press Start. Now, keep holding all those buttons down until the screen goes completely black. You'll now find yourself with a giant Rayman.'' It's sussposed to give you a giant Rayman when you play but i've never actually seen anyone playing as a giant Rayman. So it's probably just a fake then. But still, I would like to hear if anyone elese had heard of this cheat before?

I've tried myself and it didn't work. I guess it is fake.

The "Big Rayman" is actually the original intro to the Jaguar and PC versions, besides in the PS1 version just holding the shoulder buttons works just fine.

I've got a question regarding Rayman 1: on the map in Rayman 1 there's a pink present visible floating in the sky. Also, the Candyland Chateau intro image shows the present. What is it and how do I get to it?
