Re: Stan's "surprise"
It's a really nice game, but way too hard for me!
I am, by the way, amazed by the number of weapons you've developed...

Re: Stan's "surprise"
Just try to turn on classic mode and, like, 2 bots. It won't be that hard.
By the way, I figured out how to record some footage, and will probably do that this evening. Moreover, game is still evolving!

Re: Stan's "surprise"
Change skills then. Have a WHAT TH- or something. Or turn off boxes and mana regathering and set initial mana to 0 to get totally old school feeling.

Basically some of you are possibly so used to modern graphics that it leaves them unable to come over concept of player being a curve.

Re: Stan's "surprise"
I wonder how long it took Stan to develop all the items.

Re: Stan's "surprise"
Hah, I can't tell you that, I don't really remember. Moreover at some point of development I rewrote the part responsible for handling "generic objects" (~=basically everything that is not eye candy and not a curve), so I had to retouch basically every object that was there already. It was worth it though, it allowed for object-object interaction without massive lag when S. Missile (Super? Spam?) gets used etc..
For those of you interested, objects are segregated; however unlike your typical game, segregation is not based on position of object, because it doesn't help much with that small board. Instead, objects are segregated depending on their type, so game just doesn't care about interactions that aren't coded.
