Ah... Jano the one-eyed ball who seems to consist only of mouth and has skeleton arms. Yeah, I think that guy is a good one.
How-e-ver, I think, if any would scare me, it would be... Foutch. Yeah, definately Foutch. He just chases you with that manic grin and immense size and lobs flames at you - and can permanently remove a power just by punching you in the face.

Noooo! They're not funny.That level scared me a lot back in 2003...I was 7 or 8 years old and I almost cried because I was TERRIFIED! But I had to continue playing because otherwise I couldn't beat the game...My mother had to sit down next to me because I couldn't play if she didn't xD

This topic reminded me of when i was a little kid (about the age of 3 or 4 its a very foggy memory) I was terrified of everything in bandland (Mostly the music notes) and i had to have my brother play that level. :lol:

Agreed, but when he suddenly pops onto the screen, you do get a bit of a shock

Agreed, but when he suddenly pops onto the screen, you do get a bit of a shock
You can easily go through the level in the GBC version, as a he isn't there because of a glitch, which appears a lot.

On the other hand, GBC's Dark Rayman does not appear "suddenly" in any way.

Knaaren were only scary when they made an unexpecting move (jumping, catching me from behind if I thought I lost them) but the zombie chickens in Rayman 3 are by far the worst.

Razzof once got me freaked out aswell. I took a wrong turn and I found him running after me!

I can still get chills down my spine if a knaaren makes a surprise move.

It happened with me playing the Desert of the Knaaren at night and with the sound relatively turned on high and suddenly a Knaaren hitting Rayman. I gave jump in the chair with the mishap. :lol:

I had to get my mother to sit with me while I played Desert of the Knaaren.I didn't play otherwise.

I can do it with more ease now but I'm always scared of being surprised. That's why I have a terrible score in that level: an unhappy Murfy.

I'll have to repeat it.I had a sad Murfy in EVERY level.Now I only have a happy Murfy in Clearleaf Forest and The Fairy Council xD
