Re: Rayman Origins
To make it short, the only reason we have soundtracks available on RayTunes is because Ubi haven't released them, making it impossible for the vast majority of players to listen to the music outside of the game. If Ubi were to sell the Rayman Origins soundtrack, all we would add to RayTunes is a link to buy it.
I think it's you.sergiomonty wrote:Is it me? or spiraldoor is a douchebag? :B

I agree with everything that Spiraldoor said in his post.

Your posts maybe are long and "well-written", but they are mean, you can say things without complaining, being THAT sarcastic and acting like a "passive-agresive" dude. That's all I have to say to you.
P.D: I'm drawing some new characters with rayman origins' style, don't hate me if I put them here and I make you think those are confirmed characters for the game, that happened with Sssssam some pages ago

Re: Rayman Origins
What did TeensieKing not say literally, and what did I not read? Every statement he made was nonsense. Normally I would have ignored this. However, he decided to augment his post by calling Drolpiraat ‘egoist’ three times in as many lines (which caused my boon-o-meter to explode, while simultaneously drawing me into the discussion, as Drolpiraat had been agreeing with something I’d posted). TeensieKing’s post was more ‘mean’ than mine, in addition to being completely unprovoked and entirely lacking in logic. I think we can all see who’s in the wrong here, but as usual my more refined language and thorough approach to discussion leads some to conclude erroneously that I must be being haughty and arrogant rather than going to the trouble of examining the matter at hand...sergiomonty wrote:He didn't say it literally, can't you read the whole thing? Re: Rayman Origins
TeensieKing's post was more mean by far, he really hasn't any awareness of the true reasons behind Droolie's decision, and the consequences that would appear if he insisted with the previous idea. Spiral could manifest his opinion too.sergiomonty wrote:He didn't say it literally, can't you read the whole thing? All right, you win -_- let's just stop complaining about piracy, kay? that's not our problem (or at least not right now, the game hasn't even been released)

good luck! I will buy PS3 Slim 160Gb in monday-tuesday if be alright with money for my July workHaruka wrote:Today I can't regret even more the fact of not having insisted my father to have bought a PS3 back in 2007 when he was planning to buy a Blu-Ray reader. Now I have a Blu-Ray reader that only reads HD movies... I wished there was a real-life Ctrl-Z. Or better PS3 lows down the pricings again soon. Or I'll be crazy and save 180€ for a 4GBs Xbox 360.
Re: Rayman Origins
Oh damn, I was counting on that being my saving. I suppose i'll have to take up contact with OST Project, they are stars at getting music without piracy problems. They even ripped the Harry Potter OST without getting any problem, when they were 99% they would. And the good thing: They did it all for me!Drolpiraat wrote:... Okay, I changed my mind. I'll pre-order this.
Also the fact that there's a soundtrack included for the first time ever in Rayman game history... that's really nice of them! I'm starting to doubt I'll post an Origins soundtrack on RayTunes. If I do, it won't be the official one and it should have different/extra tracks. I think. Hmm...
I have a feeling Ubisoft will suddenly come with a surprise of releasing a Wii version or having it available in other countries. Likely not America though. I'm European and dutch, I want my goodies too! Stupid America.

But I think you should upload it anyways because there are some people wich won't manage to buy the collector's edition with soundtrack because it's more expensive or because it's not available in their country...Hunchman801 wrote:To make it short, the only reason we have soundtracks available on RayTunes is because Ubi haven't released them, making it impossible for the vast majority of players to listen to the music outside of the game. And come on, the edition has just a 10€ difference; I also paid extra 10€ when buying my SPORE: Galactic Edition. It was worth for the extras.
I swear I was trying to resist but Ubisoft beated me to it. I've decided that I'm going to save for a 4GB Xbox360. It will depend on luck if I want to be able to buy the console and the game close to release. And a talk with my father when I find him in good mood.NotaKuroi wrote:good luck! Nobody open this PS3, and man will sell it to me very cheap (for Russia of course). I hope he will wait for me and it will sell nobody.
Re: Rayman Origins
TeensieKing, maybe the soundtrack will be released separately and you can always order it online from Amazon, eBay, or maybe even digitally from iTunes. Then you won't have to worry about it not being available in your country.
To be honest, I pirate a lot of things (including game music) myself, but we have our reasons not to put it on RayTunes. Ubisoft considers us as their fans and they actually really like us, as we have seen in the past days. Would they still like us if they saw we shamelessly gave away for free something they're selling? If the answer wasn't obvious already: no they wouldn't. They would see the whole Rayman fanbase as "pirates" not worth making games for. While this is Pirate-Community, we're not pirates. RayTunes never was a piracy site in the first place, it's a site to share music that you can't get anywhere else because it was never officially released. I also encourage everyone to buy it because that's the best way to show Ubisoft that we like really like Rayman and that we want more Rayman games. The game will not necessarily be a success. Note that not all of the critics praised the game and some are even hating on it because they simply have something against Rayman. I can also imagine a lot of people buying another hyper-realistic but completely style-less Call of Duty game instead of the 2D, "childish" (because colourful games are always childish!) Rayman Origins. This is why we need to show as much support as possible if we ever want to see Rayman again after Origins.
I know it will be available in other places and yes, I will try to rip the game's music myself to find some extra or maybe even unused tracks, and if I do, I will probably upload those - but only what's not included in the soundtrack. That probably won't be much, because the official soundtrack seems to have 2 CDs. Which is awesome, don't you think?
I hope it's done now, so please stop arguing everyone. For great justice.

Re: Rayman Origins
Well said.
But I don't believe the game won't be available in Spain. I've seen collector's editions of Assassins Creed around here, so why Rayman Origins wouldn't appear aswell?
I can't wait to learn about the book content.

Re: Rayman Origins
That was actually about other people who lives in other countries.Spain is a quite important country and collector's editions use to be available here. But for example Latvia,Russia...Arabia? Those countries could have it unavailable.Well,I'm almost sure that it won't be available in Arabia unless it will be a world release.Arabia doesn't even have a Arabian translation,if I'm not wrong...
But I'm sure Spain,USA,England,France...those countries will have the CE (Collector's Edition, for future references I'll say CE)

Re: Rayman Origins
I’m pretty sure there are countries where Rayman Origins is not available. By your logic, doesn’t that mean we should upload the game itself?
Lack of availability does not mean that you are entitled to have something for free.

Re: Rayman Origins
The main difference is unofficial/semiofficial importers. They may import a game, but not the WTF FRENZY EDITION.
This rule has notable exceptions, of course. In Poland, GoldenEye for Wii was available almost only in the expensive edition with pad, because Germans prefered the cheaper ones.

Re: Rayman Origins
Fortuneatly websites like GAME, eBay, Amazon, and etecetra exist. If for some reason the Collector's Edition does not appear here (Knowing ECOFILMES, I have reasons to feel untrusted), I'll give a look in online shops. Unless when the month of November arrives, I send an e-mail to the client area of the company and ask for a confirmation about it.

Re: Rayman Origins
GAME: Well, they do not accept direct account money transfer. This is not shocking outta Poland, but still.
Amazon: The seem to like U.S. based version of above, so no difference to me.
eBay: PayPal: Crecit card.
...
In other words. Having no credit card kind of sucks if you want international orders. Unofficial importers are not THAT bad.
