Wow, I've been trying to get another concept picture done for the last day, but my mother owns a construction company and now's the time when its party is hosted. She knows I HATE parties, and she keeps yelling at me to get out of my room, put makeup on, and "enjoy myself," calling me a bitch, and if I don't come, I'm "grounded." I'm a perfectly sociable person, but not parties. A party with 40 random people you barely know is just plain boring. She's the kind of person who acts like an oblivious retard when drunk who can't stop laughing, and she laughs damn loud. One of the reasons actually hate these parties is because at the same annual party when I was ten, and my mom was drunk, I was in my room drawing in a sketch book, then my mother takes it and shows it to everyone and I came out crying because I had drawn some deeply personal things... and back then I was pretty emo. All she said later was "yeah, sorry, I was stressed." < What rhe hell? You were drunk! < And being stressed is her excuse for EVERYTHING, literally. She acts like no one appreciates her, even though I'm ridiculously nice to her, and she has loads of friends who take her side in everything.

Annoying as fuck isn't it? But what can I expect? She's an ex-professional volleyball player that played for the Norway team (I forgot the name), and is her age getting to her?

51. Her dad's also a surviving war hero which might as well add to the number of reasons why she thinks she's better than everyone else and cries when the smallest things happen. Not to mention the divorce, but in all the good stuff that's happened with her and then that, there's still no excuse. If she wants to biasdly be mad at someone I think it would be my older brother, because he's the one that made her have to stop playing when he turned 2.

And now she's yelling again.

my parents are still (kinda) together but the have fights too all the time...

Here's two more concepts. The first (done yesterday) is after you save Joe from the creatures and hungry Magmont rises (boss of the Ice Volcano). The second one (done today) is where Ly is chasing you down in Mount Kollapso as the mountain is collapsing, mistaking you for Dark Rayman (que "Mount Kollapso - Race of a Legendary Misconception" from part 12 of the soundtrack). Although at this point you don't know it's Ly yet. (High resolution versions of all these are available on my DeviantART.)

And wow, congrats guys, half the posts made in this topic took place this year 2011!

I honestly didn't really have a plan when I started drawing Ly. But if it helps (which it probably will), those haystacks at her hands are actually charging ray shots.

The first one is epic, but the second one will be even epic-er, because chase scenes done in such a style are amongst my favorite gameplay mechanics in games

And because of Rayman Origins, maybe you could introduce something like... when Rayman meets Ly and the rest, he soon notices Globox, who is his friend and that's how Rayman and the group become friendly (I mean, after any important events which cannot be skipped).
