No, the TV show was shot on Earth in a studio. I had this dream once about an intergalactic circus and the people over at Ubisoft thought it would be cool to make a TV series based on that. So I actually went to Earth and I got to be an actor for a while. It wasn't very difficult, since I just had to act like myself.

Me and Ly are good friends, but there's no romance here. When I first told the Ubisoft people about Ly they thought it would perhaps be good if they put a romantic link between us in the game, but we soon decided we'd stick to what actually happened, instead of changing and inventing all sorts of things.

Complications arose during the post-production of the TV series. The dialogue that had been recorded on-set was rendered unusable by the background noise from planes constantly taking off and landing at the nearby Montpellier Airport. Rayman had been expected to return to the studio and re-record his dialogue, but he was sidetracked by the unexpected onset of the Hoodlum invasion and was unable to do so. Since Ubisoft had a deadline to meet, they were forced to ask Murfy to fill in for his friend. Rayman was reportedly displeased with Murfy’s performance, and is said to have objected to the New York accent which was inexplicably affected by the mischievous greenbottle. This may have contributed to Rayman’s refusal to reprise the role for a second series, though this remains conjecture. Other factors in the series’s cancellation included on-set tensions between Rayman and his co-star Lac-Mac, who was quite difficult to work with and allegedly demanded more screen-time than the executive-producer Michel Ancel was willing to allow.
