Re: Rayman Origins
For eBay I use PayPal.
Now if I wanted to buy anything from GAME I had to use a credit card too...
It is the place where I found the cheapest Xbox 360 of 4GBs, 30€ cheaper than anywhere.

Re: Rayman Origins
The normal pricing is 299€ for 160GBs PS3s, but there are places where you can find at 279€.
As long you have money in PayPal by someone's transference, you don't need credit cards.stan423321 wrote:Wait. How do you use PayPal without credit cards?
Re: Rayman Origins
I wonder if buying a PS3 is a good idea? Knowing Sony, they will release a new console soon due to the WiiU. I can just imagine it: ''New! The Sony Touchpad controller!''
Re: Rayman Origins
You're looking at another two/three years before the next PlayStation. Might be a good idea, tons of great games!

That's not alot of money though, and I doubt you could get a PS3 for it. If so, I'd sure like to know where.

Re: Rayman Origins
So, not quite 'tomorrow', but not too late anyway. Here's what I found out. The tribal pictures of faces on the walls of the temple in the level The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire (SoSaF) all seemed like characters from Rayman Origins to me. I found it quite funny, but I didn't really know the characters from the game that well, so I immediately recognised every one of them as something from it. However, when I went back to the SoSaF to take some pictures, I quickly realised some of my 'similarities' weren't that similar at all... anyway, here's the pics and the links I drew between them and the characters from RO.Shrooblord wrote:I've noticed something by playing Rayman 2. Tomorrow, I will play R2 again and post the pictures here so I can tell you exactly what it is. Until then... try playing the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire and see if you can figure out what I mean. I've found a very interesting link between the two games - character wise. Anyway, tomorrow you'll all see.
The reason I spotted a Darktoon in this one is quite obvious. I even found the little feather on the head of the drawing a similarity that was notable.

Now, when I first spotted the images on the wall, I immediately went 'hey, it's a Psyclops!' but then I looked at the actual Psyclops and... well, they don't really look anything like it. Maybe the round one because it's ... round, and maybe the tall one because it more obviously only has one eye and it also has spikes.
This one I didn't see at first, but when I took a picture of it and looked at the enemies in RO, I thought it would do quite nicely. I made the link between the two because both seem to be dragons, the picture has some sort of fins or feathers on its back while the dragon has scales sticking out. Like I said, I really just posted this one because I wanted to link it to something - this one isn't quite as strong as the other ones though.
This one takes a little more imagination to spot - just imagine the hat, nose, musache and ear on the picture and voila! For those who are having a hard time imagining, I drew on the details you'd need to think of yourself with by using supreme art skills.
So... whaddaya think? Ancient civilisations depicted the events of Rayman Origins before they were even thought of by UbiSoft? Or... sheer coincidence and big imagination on my side?
Re: Rayman Origins
I believe it is nothing more than coicidence, but it is interesting how you point the first two figures.

Yeah, the first two were the ones that convinced me the most - the Livingstone one was just a funny thing I suddenly saw when I compared the eyes of the two pictures together.Haruka wrote:I believe it is nothing more than coicidence, but it is interesting how you point the first two figures.

Re: Rayman Origins
I agree with Haruka, it looks like a concidence. But the frist two look very convincing! It makes me wonder...

Re: Rayman Origins
Nice try anyway.
Anyway, it's pretty fun trying to figure out conections between the classic games and the new one, like the one saying that rayman is still a kid in rayman origins, as stated in rayman 3. There are many interesting things in the Knowledge of the Worlds, like the one saying that no one knows who are rayman's parents. That only means something, Betilla didn't create rayman! she just invocated him from an unknown dimention!... I think... There are many things that should really fit chronologically with rayman origins, if it doesn't, I think many old fans may get dissapointed :/

Re: Rayman Origins
It was a bit obvious that Rayman was a kid, don't you think? Personally, my idea of ''Rayman's parents'' is that they don't exist. I think Ubi simply changed this in the story.

Re: Rayman Origins
I think that Rayman is an ageless, timeless character, and anyways, he doesn't have parents! Betilla made him! Although that would make Betilla his mum...
