I looked carefully and it looks like he's either got grey dreads or massive sideburns, which are also grey. It looks like it's hair, in any case. I never was able to distinguish what it was before now - it looked like it had three heads to me before. :paranormal:

it should be cool if a darktoon is a more agressive type of antitoons, but i think/know they aren't

I also thought it could be his nose... in that case, it's not a Teensie. It could be hair too, though... the image isn't clear enough to tell.

Darktoons! Does anyone know what they are? Are they simply Antitoons with a new name? But I thought Mr. Dark created those, and apparently, Mr. Dark isn't really there yet in Origins - so what are they? Lums gone bad? Dust come to life? CRACKERS EJECTED BY THE OLD WOMAN'S TIRED DIGESTIVE SYSTEM??!!
Also, am I the only one who things "Antitoons" sounds better than "Darktoons" :?:

Darktoons are Electoons who have been corrupted by the nightmares of the Bubble Dreamer. I’m pretty sure they’re just redesigned Antitoons.

When I first watched the second trailer, I briefly considered the possibility that Mr Dark was an old man, and that the middle part was a gigantic nose and the parts on either side were big saggy cheeks. However, they flap in the wind, so that’s unlikely.

I thought exactly the same thing after I dismissed the ‘old man’ idea, but as I said, you can see the locks of hair on the right and left swaying in the wind if you look closely. There’s no way Mr Dark is a three-headed mutant Teensy.

Both names are fine.

Oh, if they flap in the wind, it must be hair. He's probably a Teensie, then.

Then I was right when I said that was hair. I couldn't imagine a Teensie with three heads.

I think a Teensie with hair is kinda ridiculous to begin with - but that's only because I have never seen any other. Oh, except for the hippie doctor Teensie in R3, but I always thought that was some sort of wig.

Yeah, it looked like a wig... but Mr Dark could have a wig too? Maybe to hide the fact that he is a Teensie...

I think Teensies are very unfortunate if they try to hide their identities - their noses just give them away instantly.

If Mr Dark is indeed a Teensie, he did a pretty good job at hiding his true identity in Rayman 1!
Although Ubisoft probably didn't intend him to be a Teensie back when they made the first game.

How does their flapping in the wind make this unlikely? LOL, just kidding :P !

We're road to nowhere with the Mr. Dark - Magician discussion xD I think we should go to other discussion if there is other thing to discuss, because we won't decide anything.Everybody has his own perception of things.I personally think the following:

The teensie we've seen with the tube is a new character. The teensie with hair is Mr. Dark.We haven't already seen the Magician,if he's going to appear.

Now,Haruka, you had put a video from youtube, but I couldn't see it because the video was very laggy and the sound was heard many times at the same time. Now I descovered I can watch it by embedding it.Can you give the link again? I cannot find it.
I think you put it after we discovered there was more that one fairy to save...

spiraldoor wrote: The Teensy on the hilltop? I’m not sure. He’s certainly Mr Dark, but he may not be the Magician. None of this evidence is conclusive, but I don’t think Mr Dark is the Magician.
GOD DAMN IT, SPIRAL!! :| Mr. Dark is not that teensy until Michel confirmes that or the game comes out. You said by yourself how exacty doesn't look mr Dark. Long hair? mr dark doesn't have hair, hat higher than the magician's hat? mr dark's hat isn't that high. maybe mr. Dark has a long coat, but it isn't dark blue and red, it's dark blue and violet.

*Gulp* guys...spiraldoor might be right, the only problem is that we've seen him from the wrong perspective.

Check this out.

Image

Ok...I have to face it, he totally looks like mr dark...maybe the top hat was added to make him more cartoony?

But Mr. Dark is taller and has yellow eyes and also (rumored, because the boss battle was really confusing) the ability to change his form. My (and spiral's) theory might be right, he later turns into this monster

Since when it was stated before that Mr. Dark hadn't hair? I believe RO just confirmed he does.
