Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
More like 5 years and before then there weren't much in the series other than shitty spin offs and ports. The whole "RAYMAN REPLACED BY RABBIDS" thing is over and done with and we have Origins now which unlike most Rabbids games which were Wii and DS exclusive, they're pushing it to most if not all current systems.
IOW get over it.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I hate to admit, but I find the Rabbid games a bit fun. TV Party and Go Home were not bad at all. Travel in Time is dissapointing, as it has ONLY 20 MINIGAMES. The 3DS game, though, is worth the money.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I've just had enough of people slagging off Rabbids as goddamn characters just for the sake of it WHEN THEY KNOW a new Rayman game is being made and looking very like it won't be cancelled unlike Rayman Raving Rabbids.
And you know what, even if RRR was even going to be released as a platformer, I would have preferred Rabbids being enemies over fucking Robo-Pirates, which I must confess I never even liked at all; I even prefer Hoodlums over those.

You will defenitely get some disagreement on that.Cairnie wrote:I've just had enough of people slagging off Rabbids as goddamn characters just for the sake of it WHEN THEY KNOW a new Rayman game is being made and looking very like it won't be cancelled unlike Rayman Raving Rabbids.

Hoodlums are pretty cool, but Hunters have got to be the stars from the series. Robo-Pirates were fun. I would have preferred the cancelled pro-types from the Pirates.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
To be honest my favourite enemies are the Robo-Pirates.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I don't know, I just never liked their design and how little they varied their attacks, at least with Hoodlums there were all different ones that did their own thing, and RRR on GBA had different Rabbids doing their own things too.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I've never liked rabbids. Uhm, sure, they're funny, in their random way, but... come on. Altough, RRR was nice to waste some time, sadly, I can also say that I enjoyed gameplay movies from TV Party (Rayman being harassed by rabbids... I know I'm horrible person
). Pirates? They're too easy to kill (only Ninjaws was pretty annoying but... :T oh well, 'nother can to crush). Hoodlums? ... "Just another white meat (?)".
Y U NO LIEK KNAARENZ? They need some luff too!

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I don't see the problem because I always loved the design of the Robo-Pirates, despite of "all what it changes is the colour outfit". I also like the Hoodlums, especially the Hoodoo.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Knaarens were just there to try and sneak around and avoid getting beaten to shit by them though, so they didn't do much for me either I'm afraid. Reflux as the final boss was quite challenging though, not like Mr Dark who just pussied out and left you with hybrids of previous bosses...
Ooooh hoodoo...loved the design of that one though as an enemy he was annoying.

I'll tell you what: You can laught at hoodlums as much as you want because I didn't mind them,But leave alone the Robo-Pirates!
They were a good idea and I love their design! Henchman800 were just genial!

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I don't see the problem with Rayman 3.
The worlds were, in my opinion, better than Rayman 2. I though R2 was a bit repeating sometimes. Rayman 3 features some the coolest like The Fairy Council, The Tower of Leptys, and The Summit Beyond the Clouds. I did miss something like the Sanctuary's.
I like Robo-Pirates, but Hoodlums had much variety and different designs. Both are pretty cool, but Hoodlums are just a bit cooler.

I have no problem with R3.But I just prefer R2.It wasn't repetitive, and I like The Lad of the Livid Dead,The Desert of the Knaaren,The Fairy Council and The Summit Beyond The Clouds, but I just prefer The Menhir Hills,Iron Mountains,The Santucaries,The Cave of Bad Dreams,The Marshes of Awakening, etc. and I prefer Robo-Pirates instead of Hoodlums.RayTunes wrote:I don't see the problem with Rayman 3.

Rayman 3 just didn't have the Rayman touch. It had sour humour that didn't work for me.I liked this games,I was fun.but I simply prefer R1 and 2

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Travel in Time is disappointing if your playing alone, and it isn't an advertisement for your games if you have to have more people to be able to have fun.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I tried with people, but still it gets boring fast. Online mode disappointed me too knowing you can't have more than 1 person online to play, unless that person has other player in the same room.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I was thinking Ubisoft meant that the minigames would somehow be really large as there were 20. Instead, they made me buy a rip-off. I should have known.Haruka wrote:I tried with people, but still it gets boring fast. Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I have the same situation as Stacey, I only own my copy for collection issues (and mine is a Collector's Edition). I have a spare copy like new for selling too.

Each minigame was longer than previous games, but still, the game wasn't that great.
