Quick question: should I include Rayman Revolution's ambients (the sounds you hear when you revisit a level) in the soundtrack? They're each 30 seconds long. I could make them separate tracks or join them all together if you want. I have them, but they're not really nice to listen to and I doubt anyone will - so I wonder if I should do it or not...

Alright, it's almost done. I won't upload the final version until the beginning of next week though, because that's when Hunch comes back.
I will temporarily upload the mp3 version somewhere else though so you can check if everything's named correctly (can't change it when it's uploaded to RayTunes because then I have to change the FLAC version too, and that one is huge).

It's a jingle - so not the ending of a track - and possibly PC exclusive. It sounds a lot like the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava theme, so I checked some playthroughs, but I haven't heard it anywhere. If you have, please say so. Or if you're absolutely sure that it's unused.

That jingle is unused as far as I can remember. Unless it is partially used in the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava.

I just finished the soundtrack and temporarily uploaded the MP3 version somewhere else (no worries: I have a lossless FLAC version which I'll also upload to RayTunes when Hunch comes back). It'd be great if everyone who has time downloads it there to see if there's anything that needs better naming, a better order of the tracks or if I've made a mistake when joining the music together.

And some information about the soundtrack:

• As you can see, it's by far the most complete Rayman 2 soundtrack available. Yay!
• The track names are partly done myself, borrowed from Infernus' rip (for example "The Celestial Slide") and kooz' old rip (for example "The Flying Barrel"). I tried to make them not too long but easily recognizable. I also tried to base them on their original filenames a lot of the time.
• All the "Reprise" and "Prelude" versions are essentially the same song, but with some instruments removed. I called them "Reprise" because their filenames in the game end with "R". And it sounds pretty good.
• The overuse of "~" is mainly because I dislike using "-" in music filenames unless it separates the title from the track number or the artist. For example, in the track "Polokus ~ Spirit of the World", if I used "-" instead, some music players might detect that as "Spirit of the World" by artist "Polokus".
• I tried to make it a good soundtrack for all the versions, which means all of the Rayman Revolution exclusive music is included, but it still uses the track order from the Dreamcast version.
• The ambients are included at the end of the soundtrack so you can just take them out without having a sudden jump in the track numbers.
• ... don't ask me why I included all the rain dance singing.

You may not have to rip Rayman 3 if you buy it on GOG.com it includes it's soundtrack.
I bought Rayman 2 on there and I got 91 Rayman tracks that were better than the old Rayman 2 soundtrack upload on RayTunes. (of course it's now all good with the new upload)

I didn't buy Rayman 3 on there but it says it includes a soundtrack as well. (you can download it as bonus content)

I know about this but I don't think it's worth buying on GOG as I already have more copies of the game than I can count.
I'm interested in the soundtrack though. GOG usually have rips online that they just take from the internet (that's what they did for R1&2). I wonder if it's the same for Rayman 3, or maybe they managed to contact the composers or convince Ubisoft to give them a good soundtrack?
That said, if anyone who has the GOG version of Rayman 3 would send me the soundtrack, I would really appreciate it.

EDIT -> Nevermind. I can confirm that the GOG soundtrack is just a selection of 48 tracks of the 232 tracks that are available on RayTunes. They removed track numbers and added a little cover like they did with Rayman 2. The tracks seem to be randomly selected as the final Clearleaf Forest music isn't there, but the beta version of it (as it is on RayTunes) is. It's also a shame that two of my favourite tracks of Rayman 3, "Inside the Fairy Council" and "Curious Globox" aren't on there. They're two iconic Rayman 3 tracks and they should be in any soundtrack. GOG fails again. :/
