nice to see that actually. seems you're close to finishing fc right now.
i wonder, is there a fully updated solution for fc by now? i just rewatched all the fc-videos on youtube and had an idea to get a few more points out of the fairy hole combo (about 40 points, i estimate. haven't calculated it yet). howevery, i don't want to replay the level with incomplete combos..

i'll see if i can provide a video in the near future. would be nice to at least see the combos that are missing and working.

good luck on your quest to 48.410 :)

I did ManM tricks in part 1 of TSBTC, I finished with 15860

And seems the second tricks of the beginning in part 2 (Hoodlock) dont work in PC version

I have been having problems in climbing the area of the Hoodlock side to the fireplace in TSBTC. I can with some tries to climb the rock but now hanging after a helicopter to the other side no... And around 3 yellow gems are unavoidably catched. Mainly due to the helicopter problem.

Unless there's a trick to do the helicopter part, I think there is a special key pressing but I can't see...

Thanks! I haven't updated the FC walkthrough since forever. I'd like to get the last details working and perhaps make some videos.

It sounds interesting you can improve the Fairy Hole combo. Obviously, in order to do that you need the Slapdash + nine 10-points objects (yellow gems, Hedgehogs, Mushrooms) before taking the first Fairy Hole. It's a challenge. I'll look forward to hearing about your progress.

Well done! It's a pretty decent score :D

I suggest you forget about the Hoodlock. After you have entered the upper level as shown on the video you posted, kill the Hoodlock and use the Throttle Copter to go one level higher. Killing the Hoodlock with the Lockjaw only gives you an extra 100 points. It's not worth the trouble, unless you aim for a very high score.

You need to have at least ten objects in the combo before taking the green gem for 9.000 points. If Y denotes a yellow gem, G a green gem and F a Fish, then my combo is this:

YFYYY|YYFYY|G

The combo is worth 120 + 280 + 9.000 = 9.400 points.

ok, thanks, another question, I saw in the beggining (your video) at the start you get the heavy metal fist, you open the piggy bank, you get the gems, you kill the Hoodlock and you get the lums, and you finish the combo with 640 points on it, but What I did the same and I only get 600 points in the combo+

The reason for the difference in the scoreline comes from the conversion of Black Lums on console platforms. A Black Lum can on these platforms be converted into one, two or even three Lums, in some cases even more. If you play on pc, you don't have this conversion. On pc, one Black Lum is conveted into one Lum. Life is not always fair.

As for the Hoodlock combo in the beginning it looks like this for the console platforms:

1 Lum: 600 points
2 Lums: 640 points
3 Lums: 700 points.

I guess you got one Lum and I got two Lums :)

I finally managed the double-glitch and racked up 88613 points after BOM Part 5, a score I'm more than satisfied with. Without tryna sound too cocky, Part 6 won't be that much of a big deal, I'm pretty confident considering my recent experiences. Not expecting an easy ride, but 100799 is certainly in reach I'd like to say :)

Also, are you purposely ignoring Cut, or have ya just overlooked his message?

Ah, that's why the points did not coincide when I attempted to do the first combo of TSBTC's Part 2. A new thing I've learnt today.

By the way, I never understood other thing. Sometimes Piggybanks when destroyed give extra 10 points than normal, why is that?

Can you give me an example where a Piggybank gives you 10 extra points? I'll try to find out why.

It's a great score you got after part 5. I got about the same score when I reached 100.799 points, so you can definitely do it. Good luck!

Cut distinguished himself by calling specific players at RPC cheaters and not worthy of their positions in HoF. He stated that certain German players were the true champions of the game. Apart from that he polluted the discussions in this forum by stating how ridiculously easy every combo was. And to top it off, he had connections with a player Nekrophil (or was Cut = Nekrophil?) who claimed to have come up with the most outrageous combos, like taking the four green gems in the Xowar room in combo after a Piggybank.

If anyone wants to communicate with Cut, then fine by me. But apart from these lines I will not waste time on a backstabbing liar like Cut. :beurk:

For example, the Tower of the Leptys. Sometimes it just gives me extra 10 points, other times it gives me 20 extra points. I never understood why.

@MandM: We have come to an understanding with Cut, getting rid of any hard feelings in the process. I think you could manage that, too. Don't forget he was just a ~13-year-old kid at that time.
