The retrocompactibility with GameCube games was my second reason at the time to have bought my Wii; this is a huge mistake from Nintendo. Just because GC games are long discontinued, there's one thing called "eBay".

If people are interested in a Wii and getting GC games for it, they better hurry up. :boon:

Time for me to start 8)

Age of Empires II: The Conquerors (best real time strategy game ever in my opinion), which I play online with friends.
Resident Evil (very first version from 1996), I also have the GameCube version, but I wanted to know what the differences are.
Resident Evil 2, sequel of the previous one.

As you can see, I've been playing old games these days ^^
I am also playing Age of Empires

I might be a Nintendo supporter but I must say that this is the worst idea ever since Game Boy Micro. :boon:
From financial perspective it makes sense though. Although GC compatibility "technically has no cost", removing support for GC accessories saves some plastic and wires at very least.

I don't believe this was a clever spending from Nintendo. It will be just like Game Boy Micro and Virtual Boy.

I think it looks pretty cute  it seems worthless though. I mean regular wiis cost the same price (atleast where I live) and I really don't see why anyone needs a slim version of something thats already pretty slim.

It does not make any sense either knowing that Wii U is coming next year.

GBM was not popular, but it sold quite well for such nonsense. Moreover more people will buy Classic Controllers.

I think Game Boy Micro sold around 2,5 units worldwide, but there were many things that just made it look stupid. Oh well.

I might consider buying a Classical Controller but I admit I'm trying to save the most as I can for a 4GB Xbox and the Collector's Edition of RO.

Now I am quite between X360 and Wii versions, because if I get RO just for myself, then X360 box would contain anything needed. BUT in case of buying 3 pads, this makes less sense unfortunately.

It is a statistic. I'm not in that number at least :mryellow:, Game Boy Advance SP for the win (bought in 2nd hand).

I simply feel sad that the Wii version won't have HD, and for a game that RO is becoming, I really should play it in HD. The Collector's Edition also helps more to have will to play the Xbox version.

Hell why not? There are Allegro auctions containing half of a DS, so why not half of a GBM?
