Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Really? Ouch... HDMI cable prices vary a lot. I've seen cables at 30€ each.

Not so long ago typical HDMI cable costed 200PLN ~= 50€ here. Nowadays 100 PLN (~=? +D) is the standard.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Yeah, the prices vary a lot especially when we are talking about brands. I saw that Xbox 360's HDMI cable can be bought for less than 30€ but I believe that the one I have is great for the job.stan423321 wrote:Not so long ago typical HDMI cable costed 200PLN ~= 50€ here. Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Don't tell me X360 needs specific HDMI cable.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
I hope not
, if it is HDMI it is HDMI!
Only if it was a very specific entrance and cable type but I highly doubt. Why spending more 30€ when I have a good spare HDMI cable?

Nah, any cable works just fine.
There are some "official" HDMI cables for xbox360 (the ones I've seen in stores around here are around 70 euros, ouch?), but it isn't essential.
But yeah their prices do vary a lot. My HDMI cables have been around 13-20 euros, so it isn't so bad.. but that's probably why they all broke down so easily too.

Heh, I've been lurking around here for years actually, just never made an account due to shyness (I do admit that the contest gave me that final kick to finally register in...RayTunes wrote:Ah! But yeah, I'm here to stay! Just hoping that people don't expect me to reach any massive post counts, because I never do no matter what forum I join in. I kind of love to just browse threads.

Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Well, it's not really about the winning for me - I just want to get it done, submit it and have it finished. Winning would be like a dream come true, but getting at least some recognition for whatever skills I have (trying my best to not make arrogant statementsRayTunes wrote:Man, you people sure want to win.
And 30 hours, for my work, might be troubling. You would know if you had seen it. Anyhoo ... the time I spend writing this could also be put into my drawing! Squada-fookin-laah, I am off!
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
imho, 30 hours sounds rediculously long to be spending on a single drawing. xD But I guess that I'm really fast with drawings. When I really get into the groove, I can finish one in mere hours. No matter how complicated it is.

Thank you for you kind comment. It goes deep into my heart.Spanex wrote:imho, 30 hours sounds rediculously long to be spending on a single drawing. xD

D: Aww silly you. It was nothing personal.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Heh I tend to finish my drawings in a couple of hours too.
But it's because my motivation slips away so easily. I must have at least 10 unfinished drawings that were progressing really well, but then I get tired and decide to continue them later.. and then they never get touched again. D8

I know your pain, sister. Every little sketch, doesn't matter how good the idea or drawing is, just lie on my desk unfinished, because I lose interest, because, for example, notice pretty stupid anathomical errors just after when I do lineart :/ or I have no time to finish it ("OMG Izzie, I see you're drawing, I surely need your help at something completely useless just right now!").
The funny thing is that when I really, really want to draw, and my drawings look pretty good, I have important exam next day and I have absolutely no time to draw ._.
Hopefully not this time! I'm gonna finish my entry! I don't care, if my celling may fall down on my head, I have to do that!

Hunch, please tell me if you got the scanned version of my drawing.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Hurray for soul-sister! Yeah I can totally relate with all of these, especially with that bad timing. XD I always get in the mood for drawing when I absolutely shouldn't. Then when you'd finally have all the time in the world to do something, no inspiration comes up.Louvis wrote:^ThisTricai wrote:Heh I tend to finish my drawings in a couple of hours too.But it's because my motivation slips away so easily. I wish you good luck with your entry, don't give up!
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
That's why I don't like to lose rythm in my drawings, because I know that after lazyness beats me.
I know how it is that problem: it is frustrating noticing anatomical errors after doing a lineart. I canceled one drawing once because of that.
