How Many GB does your PC have?

My laptop’s internal hard drive is 139 GB. I have a 1 TB external hard drive, but I rarely use it, as it’s very inconvenient (it needs to be plugged into the mains).

well it need's access space for the OS and applications (Microsoft word IE you know all that shit) the OS is about 4 GB but all that extra shit takes up like 50 GB

Well, RayFan uses 3D programs, I guess it is normal requiring so many space. External Hard Disks of 1 TB have been cheaper as time passes.

It's all a combination of loads and loads of software such as the Adobe CS5 Master Collection (65 GB), four different versions of 3Ds Max all for different uses, audio software such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton, video software like Vegas, many drivers, and of course all the work I've done since I was nine be it in Flash, audio software, modding and whatnot, CryEngine stuff (about 300 GB of it), three different OS's installed, all my downloads (about 800 GB worth), my music (about 120 GB), my video projects (about 290 GB), all the seasons of South Park, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, The Cleveland Show, American Dad, (about 200 GB), and much more. Nice long sentence with lots, and lots, and lots...a-commas. Heck I don't even care, I'm writing this at 4:30 in the morning.

Honestly, it's actually a good show. The first time I watched an episode a year back, I was like "meh." But then when I downloaded the first two seasons and watched in a dedicated mode about five in a row, it's actually very good. You should give it a chance.

Maybe I should. I've only seen a couple of episodes. From what I've heard it's very similar to Family Guy, though (not so strange, considering MacFarlane is behind both shows), and I'm not a big fan of Family Guy.

I think you should. The humor's not as crude, and a lot of the time I think it's actually executed better.

That's a good amount, how much space have you used so far in total? Personally I've probably only got about 1TB of information stored, but that's mainly because of my storage limitations.

I won't even manage to fill my own harddrive and it's 1tb. Let alone I have a 1tb external drive with the only purpose to backup and safekeep ancient files. Whatever do you guys stash inside those things besides music and movies?

Most of my hard drive is filled up with uncompressed audio files from Logic Pro, as I do a lot of music recording/production. Each project alone has on average 50 tracks of uncompressed data. Using an external drive for these is a pain, which is why I'm so happy to be upgrading to 2TB internal Does this make me a computer geek?
