Portal's totally overrated. I actually didn't much enjoy it. Whooh I have a gun that shoots portals. And do the same things over and over again in continuously white, repetitive rooms.

Exactly. It's one overrated puzzle game. The least they could have done is add some environmental variety.
Ok so you want a game where Rayman has this epic portal gun where he shoots portals at the bad guys across his land where they'll be taken to hell?
Or perhaps you'd be happy enough if GLaDOS had painted the walls pink?
Honestly I love games where they have outstanding settings but the fact that Portal had very little of it didn't bother me one bit at all, I found the game just as exciting in setting as Rayman 2, Portal 2 of course had a lot more of it than 1 but I love both of them.

Correct!
I played the first game, but I seriously don't see how the second will suddenly be a ''Game that is so amazing that we will all be like OMG WTF THIS IS DA BEST GAME EVAH!!! IMA PORTAL ADDICCT!''.
Okay this is not a Portal discussion thread. But I will state one more thing: one of the reasons I didn't enjoy it so much is because I was mislead by my friends who said it was the "best game ever," and I didn't know anything about the game. It seemed like one long tutorial level until I found out that WAS the game.
On the topic, all you Scots take a look at my new location on my profile. It will remain so for the next few weeks. Speaking of which, on my way I stopped over in the Netherlands and found out I could read Dutch.

It's funny how you say all you Scots when there's only 4 (including me) registered on the forum.
