Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
Yeah time really flies...
Anywho, I have an idea for enemies and boss in The Canyon Of The Lost (did you get the idea for this from Deltora Quest: Valley Of The Lost?).
You could have standard enemies in Canyon giant scorpions that dig their way out of the ground and attack you-they range in sizes, the bigger they are the more deadly. And for a boss you could have Mr Skops return! Or...something...

Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
I LOVED THAT SERIES! It was probably my favourite adventure series of all time actually. A friend and I read all 20 or so of them back in grade five and six. And I also got inspiration by the desert one, I forgot what it was called.beebo44 wrote:Yeah time really flies...

Neat idea... by the way, do you know in real life, you want scorpions to be big? The smaller they are, the deadlier their venom.beebo44 wrote: You could have standard enemies in Canyon giant scorpions that dig their way out of the ground and attack you-they range in sizes, the bigger they are the more deadly. Also,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RAYFAN!! Wow, you're only sixteen just now? I thought you'd be at least one or two years older than I am... lol that's odd. I just thought you would be due to the awesomeness of your game so far.
People are really cool helping you out/giving you inspiration in this. I hope my game will be received as heartfully as yours when I announce it...
Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark

Absolutely perfect... though I don't think Rayfan will be too happy with the reference you're creating.

I wouldn't know of any reference.Shrooblord wrote:Absolutely perfect... though I don't think Rayfan will be too happy with the reference you're creating.

Happy Birthday, m'dear! I know you'll be enjoying it where you are
Ooh, and there are new tracks. If I'm honest, they're not quite as great as your last batch of brownies, but still tasty anyhow.
Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
Yum, brownies. I loved the Pizza Hut ones that I ate once.

Thanks everyone!
Mmm, brownies... my favourite kind of unhealthy food. I was in Winchester yesterday and I just had like a billion of them.

Nothing compares to a really, really good brownie. The way that smooth, delicate layer of crispiness lightly breaks as you bite down, giving way to warm, oozing, intense chocolatey heaven... the Pizza Hut ones used to be good, but I think they've changed the recipe now.
And Winchester, Rayfan?
Happen to bump into Xen?

You thought you'd just notify us of being off-topic in the thread in which the creator of the thread is actually being off-topic herself?
Alright then, back to Revenge of the Dark. I was wondering, Rayfan, what kind of textures and style you plan to use. Do you intend to use the 'really realistic' ones that have been in your videos so far, or do you plan on making some yourself? Or do you plan to use textures and style of Rayman 2, if Drolly (lol probably only he will get that

I tried also another ones from a supermarket, but I didn't like it.Jewish Candy wrote:Nothing compares to a really, really good brownie. Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
Oh, yeah, the 'brownies' from the supermarket are nothing like what Jewish Candy described at all. They're more like cakes than brownie...Haruka wrote:I tried also another ones from a supermarket, but I didn't like it.
By the way, JC's way of describing brownies; I agree - those are the best. Soooo jummyyy...
Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
It actually looked like rocks. The Pizza Hut ones were much more tastier. I don't know where to get authentic brownies in my zone.
You guys should taste Pastel de Nata, it is delicious!

Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
Oh, we always make the brownies ourselves... with the gooey insides... jummm
Ok but before we start trailing on brownies here, let's get back to the game, no?

Just thought I'd quote just in case it got lost inbetween some Pizza Hut, supermarket and gooey brownies.Shrooblord wrote:I was wondering, Rayfan, what kind of textures and style you plan to use. Sorry for all this off-topic by the way.
