Pretend you are in science class and we are dissecting an animal called a "sentence." Vise versa: I could get just as annoyed hearing "God dammit" and "Jesus Christ" as you could hearing me say "science dammit," although mine's a South Part reference. Bear cave: a bear cave is a one-way introversion, and seeing as you only recognized one side of the argument I replied with said phrase.Serza5 wrote:I have to agree with Spiral, what do you mean by that?spiraldoor wrote:I do not understand what you are saying.RayFan9876 wrote:...and vise versa. In my brother's Science class, they skipped Evolution because they fought it was pointless and offensive against God.RayFan9876 wrote:Pretend you are in science class and we are dissecting an animal called a "sentence." I understnad what you're saying there but what does that have to do with Spiral? Re: Anti-British!!!!
The difference is that ‘goddamn’ and so forth are perfectly common traditional exclamations which are used by many people. ‘Science damn’ is a horribly forced and contrived attempt to replace ‘God’ with ‘Science’ in common language, which makes no sense from any perspective whatsoever, ‘joke’ or not. Do you actually say stuff like that in real life? I imagine the people around you would grow tired of it very quickly. I realise that you are trying to push an atheist agenda here, but there’s a time and a place for it; repeatedly posting the same silly joke everywhere is not the way.RayFan9876 wrote:Pretend you are in science class and we are dissecting an animal called a "sentence." But seriously, in all honestly Britian's probably going to split one day. When is another matter.

Re: Anti-British!!!!
That's something that I haven't really thought about. Would Scottish independence actually be beneficial? I don't even know...

To whom?
Actually, this is one of best answers to all such questions. I have no idea what is stuff in Scotland like, but almost surely some would benefit more than others.

Re: Anti-British!!!!
The fact of asking me if I hate O'Reilly simply because my parents supposedly do so, is in my opnion not exactly a very ''intelligent'' or ''meaningful'' discussion. Obviously anyone hates him except for the extremely religious and plain stupid people in America. Plus, I find considering your own opinions intelligent and always disagreeing not exactly fitting for that category. A forum is also meant for entertainment, not for closing your computer and knowing there is likely another post saying something in the words of 'Spiral is a dick'. I would seriously get tired of all these discussions.spiraldoor wrote:I am sorry if my last three posts have been a disappointment after reading the previous 118 pages of intelligent and meaningful discussion.DesLife wrote:Youpi, another silly and nonsensical debate. To both Scotland and the UK. I mean it could be great for us but not so great for the rest of the UK or who knows it could be a win-win situation for both.stan423321 wrote:To whom?

Re: Anti-British!!!!
I’m not sure why you’re talking to me, and I don’t understand what you’re saying. When did I say that asking you if you hate Bill O’Reilly because you inherited certain political beliefs from your parents was an ‘intelligent’ or ‘meaningful’ course of action? Why are you shoehorning Bill O’Reilly into yet another conversation? Come to think of it, such questions actually are a step above an average ‘Anti-British!!!!’ discussion, but I don’t recall specifying this and hence I don’t see your point. I guess I could say that bashing Bill O’Reilly is also not conducive to ‘intelligent’ or ‘meaningful’ discussion. I don’t hate Bill O’Reilly and I am not religious, stupid or American; please stop making silly generalisations. Are you trying to say that disagreement is inherently unintelligent? Forums are not ‘meant for entertainment’; if that’s your attitude towards them, it’s your own problem. Closing my computer and seeing ‘Spiral is a dick’? Yet again, I have no idea what you are trying to say. If you are tired of ‘all these discussions’, perhaps you should stop posting in them and leave me alone.RayTunes wrote:The fact of asking me if I hate O'Reilly simply because my parents supposedly do so, is in my opnion not exactly a very ''intelligent'' or ''meaningful'' discussion. Re: Anti-British!!!!
Well if you put it this England is pretty large in itself so I doubt the UK would lose out on anything serious, the most it would be is losing Scottish produce which could be solved if the UK Sets up a trade with Scotland (Which is pretty likely).Fraz wrote:To both Scotland and the UK. Independence is more of a pride thing than anything else, however leaving would mean that we can fully run our own country, we can have our own voice and we wouldn't have to put up with British PMs like David Cameron.

Re: Anti-British!!!!
Trust me, technically speaking Scotland can do far more than Poland can. Now.
Also why everybody recently became interested in some American TV presenter I don't even bother to know about is beyond me.

There are a lot of people that disagree on that. There is a website that keeps up with his failure.spiraldoor wrote:Why are you shoehorning Bill O’Reilly into yet another conversation? It is obvious the United States are not the best when it comes to 'intelligence'.spiraldoor wrote: I don’t hate Bill O’Reilly and I am not religious, stupid or American; please stop making silly generalisations.

I've seen that quote a couple of times, but i'm not going to search through the whole forum just to prove it.
